Abstract:
A POS terminal device capable of extracting a commodity image from an image taken by image pickup means in order to contribute to an improvement in the recognition rate of commodities is provided. A POS terminal device (1) includes at least one image pickup unit (2) and a 3D image generation unit (4), and a commodity image extraction unit (6). The image pickup unit (2) generates a plurality of 2D images by shooting a commodity from a plurality of viewpoints, each of the plurality of 2D images corresponding to a respective one of the plurality of viewpoints. The 3D image generation unit (4) generates a 3D image including an image of the commodity by using the plurality of 2D images generated by the image pickup unit (2). The commodity image extraction unit (6) extracts the image of the commodity by using the 3D image.
Abstract:
A POS terminal apparatus, a POS system, a commodity recognition method, and a non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program capable of efficiently performing the commodity recognition are provided. The POS terminal apparatus (1) includes a movement-trajectory detection unit (2), a settlement-customer identification unit (4), and a commodity recognition process unit (6). The movement-trajectory detection unit (2) detects movement trajectories of customers in a store by using images taken by at least one image-pickup apparatus. The settlement-customer identification unit (4) identifies a customer who is about to make a settlement for a commodity. The commodity recognition process unit (6) performs a process for recognizing the commodity for the settlement, in which commodities displayed at positions corresponding to the detected movement trajectory for the customer identified by the settlement-customer identification unit (4) are set as candidates.
Abstract:
A POS-terminal device includes: a housing that is provided with a product-reading device including an imaging unit configured to capture a product to generate an image; a product-input unit configured to input the product, the product-input unit including a product-reading frame configured to define an outer edge of an imaging area of the imaging unit; and a reflector configured to reflect a subject image of the product passed over the imaging area, outside the housing.
Abstract:
This information processing device (100) has: communication unit (110) that performs near-field wireless communication with other information processing devices; determination unit (120) that determines whether another information processing device (100) has come into proximity on the basis of the communication result of the communication unit (110); and control unit (130) that, if the determination result of the determination unit (120) indicates that another information processing device (100) has come into proximity, causes the communication unit (110) to transition to a reception mode and, if the determination result from the determination unit (120) indicates that another information processing device (100) has not come into proximity, causes the communication unit (110) to transition to a transmission mode.
Abstract:
To make it possible to easily keep a terminal device stable while holding lower corner portions (two corners) at both ends of a terminal device with both hands and while placing the terminal device on a horizontal plane in a curved state, the terminal device, which has a first and second end part that are separated from and oppose each other, is provided with a flexible display device and a first constituent part and second constituent part configured from electronic components. The first constituent part is disposed in the first end part, and the second constituent part is disposed in the second end part.
