Abstract:
A radio terminal (2) receives a first information element indicating a list of search spaces configured by a base station (1) for the radio terminal (2) via a dedicated signaling message destined for the radio terminal (2). The first information element contains a second information element indicating a configuration of each search space required by the radio terminal (2) to monitor downlink control information in each search space included in the list. The first information element further contains a third information element indicating, on a per-search space basis, whether each search space is initially deactivated. This contributes to, for example, promptly deactivating a radio resource range used for transmission of downlink control information or promptly deactivating a reception operation of a radio terminal therein.
Abstract:
A communication system is disclosed in which a user equipment (UE) receives data associated with an Ultra-Reliable and Low-Latency Communications (URLLC) service and data associated with an Enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB) service. The UE generates a first Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) codebook for URLLC service and a second HARQ codebook for the eMBB service, bundles the first HARQ codebook into a single bit, and appends it to the end of the second HARQ codebook to form a multiplexed HARQ codebook. The UE then transmits the multiplexed HARQ codebook to the access network node.
Abstract:
A mobile communication system according to the present invention includes multiple base stations. The base station receives emergency support information indicating the supporting status of emergency call communication at neighboring base stations adjacent to the base station.
Abstract:
A method is disclosed in which a user equipment (UE) that communicates with a radio access network (RAN) maintains information for configuring timing of fixed frame period (FFPs) for a listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure. When the UE has data to be transmitted, it performs a clear channel assessment, CCA, to determine if a communication channel is clear. When the CCA indicates that the communication channel is clear a channel occupancy time, COT, is initiated for the UE within a subsequent FFP and transmission of the data commences. However, transmission of the data ceases following receipt of an indication, from a node of the RAN, that the transmission should be stopped.
Abstract:
An advanced wireless communication system and method for use therein provides adaptive radio access using a plurality of configurable OFDM-based waveforms. The method comprises: receiving, at a UE and on a band-specific fixed system subband, one or more synchronisation signals; determining, at the UE, and according to the synchronisation signals, a base waveform numerology; and receiving, at the UE and according to the base waveform numerology, system information, wherein the system information defines parameters for a service or services.
Abstract:
A method is disclosed in which downlink control information transmitted by a radio access network provides an indication of at least one set of control resources configured at a UE, or of at least one search space configured at a UE, that the UE is to stop monitoring for DCI, start monitoring for DCI, or continue monitoring for DCI.

Abstract:
A communication system is disclosed in which a base station configures an item of user equipment (UE) with pre-emptable communication resources (e.g. a mini-slot), within a set of communication resources (e.g. a slot) allocated to the UE. The UE performs uplink communication of enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB) data over the set of communication resources. When the UE receives an ‘UL Pre-emption Indication’, it pre-empts the pre-emptable communication resources for Ultra-Reliable and Low-Latency Communications (URLLC) communications by a different UE.
