A control apparatus includes: first means for providing at least one of a plurality of network functions of a first network; second means for determining, based on an attribute(s) of a received packet, whether to forward the packet to a path in which the first means operates or to the first network; and third means for giving an instruction about a forwarding destination of the received packet to a predetermined packet forwarding apparatus in accordance with the determination.

This communication device for mitigating deterioration in signal processing performance in a network node and/or for increasing the stability of the network node on the basis of an appropriate estimation of the quantity of equipment with respect to a communication traffic is a communication device in which a function for processing a control signal a terminal transmits to connect to a network is operated by a virtual machine. The communication device includes: a first means for collecting, from a network node that processes traffic transmitted and received by a plurality of the terminals, traffic data comprising information about the traffic; and a second means that extracts, from the collected traffic data, a traffic feature quantity including the degree of variation in the traffic. The second means has the function for calculating, on the basis of the extracted traffic feature quantity, the resource quantity of the communication device and/or the network node that is required for processing the traffic.

To reduce the signal processing performance degradation of a network node and/or to enhance the stability of the network node based on an appropriate estimate of equipment quantity in relation to communication traffic, a control device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a first means for collecting, from a network node that processes traffic, traffic data that is information about the traffic and a second means for extracting, from the collected traffic data, a traffic feature value including the degree of the variation of the traffic. On the basis of the extracted traffic feature value, the second means calculates the amount of resources necessary for the network node to process the traffic.

An information collection system includes: a side-channel information processing unit that derives load information to estimate an impact on the availability of a target machine for active scanning by using side-channel data; an allow list generation unit that generates an allow list including a scan timing and a scan range in which the availability is not affected, the allow list generation unit generating the allow list based on the load information; and an allow list storage unit that stores the allow list. An active scan of the target machine is executed by referencing the allow list stored in the allow list storage unit to collect asset information of the target machine.
