Abstract: A spark plug including a bottomed tubular insulator, a tubular metal shell, a conductive layer, and a terminal. The insulator extends along an axial line from a front end side to a rear end side and is closed at a front end. The metal shell has a ledge portion that projects radially inward and locks the insulator from the front end side. The metal shell holds the insulator from an outer peripheral side. The conductive layer covers at least a part of an inner peripheral surface of a portion of the insulator which is located on the front end side with respect to a locking portion locked by the ledge portion. The terminal is electrically connected to the conductive layer and is insulated from the metal shell.

Abstract: A pressure sensor includes: a housing having a tubular shape, and including a front end including an opening; a diaphragm that is disposed to close the opening, and is structured to deform depending on a pressure exerted on a front side of the diaphragm, and includes a hole extending rearwardly from a front end face of the diaphragm; a sensor element structured to output a signal varying depending on an amount of the deformation of the diaphragm; and a heat receiver including a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is disposed in the hole of the diaphragm, and is joined with an inner periphery of the diaphragm defining the hole. The second portion is formed integrally with the first portion, and is disposed adjacent to a front end of the first portion, and is structured to cover the front end face of the diaphragm.

Abstract: An ignition plug capable of improving ignition performance while preventing pre-ignition includes a center electrode, a bottomed cylindrical insulator enclosing a front end portion of the center electrode and a cylindrical metal shell holding therein the insulator. The insulator has, on a front end side thereof, a protruding portion protruding from and located frontward of a front end of the metal shell. In the ignition plug, a difference between an outer diameter of the center electrode and an inner diameter of the insulator is 0.01 mm or more; an axial length of the protruding portion is 6.7 mm to 12.7 mm; and the following condition is satisfied: 1.07≤S/V1≤1.35 where S is an outer surface area of the protruding portion; and V1 is a volume of the protruding portion.
