摘要: A stabilizer includes: a stabilizer bar made of a pipe material; and a stabilizer link that couples the stabilizer bar and a suspension device. The stabilizer link includes a ball stud which includes a shaft portion inserted to and fixed in an opening end of the stabilizer bar and a ball portion formed at a leading end of the shaft portion, a housing which rotatably supports the ball portion, and a flexible dust cover which includes one end attached on the housing so as to be unmovable in a ball stud axis direction and the other end attached on at least either of the shaft portion and the stabilizer bar and which seals a space between the housing and the ball stud.

摘要: A lower-side spring receiving member is adapted to receive a compression spring provided with an effective part, end turn parts which do not elastically deform, and rising parts located between the effective part and the end turn parts, at a lower side of the compression spring. The lower-side spring receiving member is provided with a contact part which is formed to protrude outward from an end at one side in the extending direction thereof, and which is in contact with the rising part so as not to form a gap between the contact part and the rising part. The contact part is in contact with the rising part of the compression spring by an elastic force caused by elastic deformation, regardless of a load on the compression spring.

摘要: Bonding the bush to the stabilizer bar, by surface pressure in the bonding surface (inner circumferential surface) of the hole-part of the bush being made uniform, bonding strength is obtained. The first arc part is formed at the opposite side of the opening of the U-shaped part of the bracket in the bonding and second arc part is formed in the opening side, in the hole-part of the bush. The first and second arc parts are circular arc parts being formed in circular arc shape or approximately circular arc shape or are ellipse arc part being formed in the ellipse arc shape or approximately ellipse arc shape. In the hole-part, the center of the first and second arc parts are separated. The curvature radius of the second arc part gets smaller than the curvature radius of the first arc part. The hole-part is formed in an oval shape.

摘要: A method for producing a stabilizer and a heating device allows the entirety of a hollow member to be uniformly heated to a temperature necessary for heat treatment, even in a case in which a cross section varying hollow member is used as the starting material. In a preliminary heating process, energizing heating is performed between electrodes, which are arranged at cross section varying parts at both ends of large cross sectional area part, which can be heated. In an entire heating process, by performing energizing heating between electrodes, which are arranged at both ends of the cross section varying hollow member, the latter can be heated. In the preliminary heating process, it is desirable to perform energization heating at a part having a cross sectional area ratio of 90% or more with respect to the part having a large cross sectional area in the cross section varying part.

摘要: An end turn portion of a coil spring includes a first portion, a second portion, and a third portion. The first portion is always in contact with a spring seat irrespective of the magnitude of a load applied to the coil spring. The second portion contacts the spring seat when the load applied to the coil spring is large, and is separated from the spring seat when the load is small. The third portion is always separated from the spring seat irrespective of the magnitude of the load. An insulating sheet made of a material having rubber elasticity is attached to a lower surface of a wire at the end turn portion by means of adhesive bonding. The insulating sheet is provided on a lower surface of a region including at least the second portion.

摘要: A stabilizer link includes a support bar, and ball joints. The ball joint includes a ball stud including a ball portion and a stud portion, and a housing that turnably supports the ball portion of the ball stud. The stabilizer is formed of a rod-shaped member made of metal. Mounting portions to which the stabilizer links are to be joined are respectively provided at both ends of the stabilizer. Through-holes through which the stud portions of the ball studs are to be inserted are respectively provided in the mounting portions. The stabilizer link is joined to the stabilizer by press-fitting the stud portion of the ball stud into the through-hole of the mounting portion.
