    摘要： A bellows assembly for a vibration damper includes a bellows with a plurality of pockets with pocket walls and a pocket inner profile, a helical compression spring with windings consisting of a wound spring wire and pressure contact lateral faces. The helical compression spring is arranged in the bellows and the plurality of pockets extend coaxially to the longitudinal axis of the helical compression spring. Under pressure loading of the helical compression spring arranged in the bellows, the bellows folds together with the helical compression spring, wherein the wound spring wire is arranged at least in certain portions in the plurality of pockets, wherein the pocket walls of the plurality of pockets in which the wound spring wire is arranged at least in certain portions cover at least the mutually opposite pressure contact lateral faces of adjacent windings of the helical compression spring.

    摘要： A dust cover for a ball joint has a spherical head portion, a shaft, a cylindrical one-end large-diameter opening portion, a large-diameter opening portion side reinforcing ring fixed to a socket, the other end small-diameter opening portion retained onto the shaft, a flange portion extending from an end portion in the other-end small-diameter opening portion of the one-end large-diameter opening portion toward a ball stud side, and a rubber-like elastic film portion coupling an inward end portion of the flange portion and the other-end small-diameter opening portion. The dust cover has an outside projection provided on an outer peripheral surface of the film portion, and an inside projection provided on an inner peripheral surface of a joint portion between the flange portion and the film portion, and the outside projection and the inside projection come into contact with each other when the dust covers for the ball joint are laminated.

    摘要： An abrasion-resistant protective cover, in the form of a sock, fitting over a drive axle joint seal of a vehicle. The sock is formed of abrasion-resistant material to extend the operation of the seal by extending the amount of wear and tear that the seal can withstand. The sock may be pre-assembled about the joint seal during assembly of the drive axle shaft and joint. The sock is attached at one end to the drive axle shaft and at the opposite end to the joint. The sock may also be assembled about the joint seal after assembly of the drive axle shaft and joint. The sock is wrapped about the joint seal and held in place by clamps around the drive axle shaft and the joint. The sock may be fabricated with any one of several abrasion-resistant materials and may include a flexible material to allow the sock to be tightly fitted about the joint seal without limiting movement of the joint seal around the drive axle shaft.

    摘要： A boot for a universal joint, which is made of a high-molecular elastomer, in which bellows having three or more ridges are extended between a larger and a smaller ring portion, and in which a valley is formed between the first ridge from the larger side of the bellows and the larger ring portion. In this boot, the crest of the first ridge has its inner circumference located outside of the imaginary circumference of the frustum of a cone, which is formed by joining the end portion of the larger ring portion at the side to be connected to the bellows and the crest of the second ridge. As a result, the wears of the ridges (especially of the first ridge) due to their mutual contacts are not promoted so that the boot can have its durability improved.
