Abstract: A motor includes a rotor rotatable about a central axis and a stator including coils. The stator opposes the rotor with a gap interposed therebetween. A housing defines at least a portion of a closed chamber in which a cooling medium is housed. Heat dissipation portions are able to release heat of the cooling medium in the closed chamber to an outside. A pressure adjustment portion is able to adjust a pressure in the closed chamber. At least a portion of the coils and the rotor is housed in the closed chamber.

Abstract: A pump includes an upper casing, a lower casing, a can, an impeller, and a motor. The upper casing includes a suction port through which a fluid is suctioned and a discharge port through which the fluid is discharged. The lower casing is located below the upper casing. The can is accommodated in the lower casing. The impeller is accommodated in the upper casing. The motor includes a rotor and a stator connected to the impeller. The rotor is accommodated in the can. The stator is located between an inner peripheral surface of the lower casing and an outer peripheral surface of the can. The can includes a protruding portion protruding in a radial direction from the outer peripheral surface. A lower end of the protruding portion and an upper end of the stator come into contact with each other.

Abstract: In an aspect of the motor of the present invention, the motor includes a shaft centered on a center axis extending in a predetermined direction, and a stator located radially outside of the shaft. The stator has a coil wound around the stator. The motor further includes a housing member having a substantially cylindrical shape with a bottom, where the housing member accommodates substantially the entire stator, and supports the shaft, a cooling medium with which the housing member is filled, where the stator and the coil is immersed in the cooling medium, and a rotor that rotates radially outside of the housing member with the center axis of the shaft as a rotation center.
