Abstract: A shaft of a motor includes a first shaft and a second shaft extending from the first shaft to one axial side. A housing includes a neutralizing device holder that holds a first neutralizing device. The neutralizing device holder includes a seal holder that is arranged radially outward of the second shaft and holds a seal member. The first neutralizing device electrically connects the second shaft and the neutralizing device holder. The seal member seals a gap between the second shaft and the seal holder, and is arranged on the other axial side of the first neutralizing device.

The lid portion and the second shaft have conductivity. The second shaft through hole is disposed on one axial side with respect to the first shaft through hole. The second shaft is in contact with an electrical discharging device that electrically connects the shaft and the housing of the motor.

The housing includes an accommodation space in which the contacted portion of the shaft is accommodated. The contact and the resolver are side by side in a direction along a rotation axis in the accommodation space.

Abstract: A motor unit includes a shaft and an electrical discharging device. The shaft includes a helical gear. The electrical discharging device includes a contact member, a biasing member, and a case. The biasing member biases the contact member toward an end face of an end part of the shaft in a direction parallel to the axial direction of the shaft. The contact member has conductivity. The contact member is brought into contact with the end face by the biasing of the biasing member. The maximum stroke amount of the contact member in the axial direction is larger than the movement width of the shaft in the axial direction during rotation.

When viewed from the axial direction, for at least one of the ribs, the fixing point is formed on an extension line extending outward from the rib in a direction in which the rib extends.
