    Abstract: A window covering system comprises a shell, a weight member, a covering material positioned between the shell and the weight member, a control device. The covering material comprises at least one ladder, multiple slats corresponding to the at least one ladder, and at least one lifting cord, wherein the lifting cord is connected between the shell and the weight member. The control device comprises a driving module, a releasing module, and an operation module that are connected to each other. The ladder is connected to the operation module, and the lifting cord is connected to the driving module, such that the operation module drives the ladder to tilt the slats, at the same time, the releasing module is driven by the operation module to remove restriction to the driving module, hence descending the weight member.

    Abstract: A support structure for a roller for a shade includes a bracket, a plug and a limit member. The bracket is adapted to fix on a fixing member, and includes a connecting hole. The plug has one end connected to a shaft tube of the shade, and the other end thereof is inserted into the connecting hole of the bracket. The limit member is connected to the end of the plug, which is provided for being inserted into the connecting hole of the bracket, whereby the limiting member restrains the plug from detaching from the bracket. By the limit member, the connection of the bracket and the plug could be strengthened, so as to prevent the shade from falling off, whereby to enhance the safety of the support structure for the shade in use.

    Abstract: A connecting structure, which is located between a first object and a second object, includes a first engaging member and a second engaging member located between the first engaging member and the first object. The first engaging member is located between the second engaging member and the second object. The second engaging member has a thickness. When a distance between the first engaging member and the first object is less than or equal to said thickness, the first engaging member and the second engaging member are not movable relative to each other. When said distance is greater than said thickness, the first engaging member and the second engaging member can be moved in a direction relative to each other, moving the first object and the second object relative to each other as well. A covering device for an opening of a building is also disclosed, which includes said connecting structure.

    Abstract: A slat of a window covering is disclosed, wherein the slat includes a core material and a covering layer covering thereon. The core material is substantially long, and a surface thereof could be divided into two side surfaces and a continuous surface, wherein one of the side surfaces is on one side of the core material in a longitudinal direction, and the other one of the side surfaces is on the other side of the core material in the longitudinal direction. The continuous surface connects the peripheries of the side surfaces. The continuous surface has at least one flat segment provided in the longitudinal direction. The covering layer covers the continuous surface, wherein the covering layer has a greater thickness on the at least one flat segment than on any other parts of the continuous surface.

    Abstract: A window blind includes a headrail, a bottom rail, a plurality of slats horizontally provided therebetween, a ladder tape connecting the headrail and the bottom rail, and at least one cord adapted to collect and expand the blind. The ladder tape includes a first vertical member and a second vertical member which are provided in parallel, with a space left therebetween. The second vertical member is a piece of fabric made by interweaving multiple first vertical yarns and multiple first horizontal yarns. Multiple ring members are provided in a longitudinal axial direction of at least one of the first vertical member and the second vertical member. Since the aforementioned vertical components and loop segments are made by weaving, these components are prevented from being pulled out to form loops. The position of the cord is restricted to avoid excessive horizontal movement and the hazard of wrapping around human body parts.

    Abstract: A locking mechanism is disclosed, which is installed in a movable rail of a window covering, and is passed through by a cord. The locking mechanism includes a locking unit and a pressing member, wherein the locking unit includes a stopping member which is movable between a first position and a second position. The stopping member is normally located at the first position to abut against the cord, which prevents the cord from moving relative to the locking mechanism, whereby to maintain the position of the movable rail. By pressing the pressing member, the stopping member is moved to the second position, where the stopping member no longer abuts against the cord. Therefore, when the movable rail is moved in a direction away from a fixed rail of the window covering, the cord can move relative to the locking mechanism. Whereby, the movable rail can be smoothly moved downward.
