摘要: An oven comprising a controller that operates the oven in a food cooking mode and in energy saving mode in which energy consumption of a heater and one or more fans is reduced. In the food cooking mode the controller maintains heated air flow at a first set temperature. In the energy saving mode the controller maintains the heated air flow at a second set temperature, which is less than the first set temperature, thereby reducing energy consumed by the heater. In the energy mode, controller also operates the fan that circulates the heater air and a cooling fan at reduced speeds, thereby reducing energy consumption of both fans.
