    Abstract: An electrolyte, including an additive A, wherein the additive A comprises a non-fluorinated lithium borate compound; and at least one additive selected from an additive B, an additive C, an additive D, or an additive E, wherein the additive B comprises at least one of vinylene carbonate, fluoroethylene carbonate, lithium tetrafluoroborate, lithium difluoro(oxalato)borate, or lithium difluorophosphate; the additive C comprises a compound comprising S═O; the additive D comprises a compound having 2 to 4 cyano groups; and the additive E comprises a silicon-containing carbonate compound. This application provides an electrolyte and an electrochemical apparatus. The electrolyte includes additives such as a non-fluorinated lithium borate compound, thereby effectively improving high-temperature storage performance, cycle performance, floating charge performance and/or overcharge performance of the electrochemical apparatus.

    Abstract: An electrochemical apparatus, including an electrolyte and a positive electrode, where the electrolyte includes ethylene carbonate and propylene carbonate, the positive electrode includes a positive electrode current collector and a positive electrode active material layer disposed on at least one surface of the positive electrode current collector, and the positive electrode active material layer includes a positive electrode active material, where percentages of ethylene carbonate and propylene carbonate satisfy a specific relationship, and under an X-ray diffraction (XRD) test, a peak intensity I003 of plane 003 of the positive electrode active material layer and a peak intensity I104 of plane 104 of the positive electrode active material layer satisfy a specific relationship. With the above configuration, the electrochemical apparatus of this application shows excellent performances, especially the high-temperature floating charge performance.

    Abstract: The present application relates to an electrolyte and an electrochemical device. The electrolyte includes an organic solvent, an additive and a lithium salt, the additive including a cyclic borate and a nitrile compound. The electrolyte of the present application has good stability at a high working voltage. In another embodiment of the present application, the combination of the electrolyte and an anode having a high compacted density provides a high energy density for the electrochemical device, and improves the storage, floating charge and dynamicperformance of the electrochemical device.
