A connection port 31 includes a cylindrical outer port 42 to which downstream piping 30b (discharge-side piping) is connected; an inner port 43 to which upstream piping 30a (supply-side piping) is connected, and which is provided in the outer port; and a lid member 44 which closes the inner port as well as the outer port. The inner port is provided so as to extend through the outer port from the outside of the outer port, and a heater H is provided on a portion of the inner port projecting outside the outer port. When the lid member is in a closed state, the inner port is heated with the heater to sterilize the portion of the inner port exposed to the outside, thus enabling the connection port to be cleaned at a higher level.

A blood purification apparatus that includes a blood purifier, a vascular access flow path, a cleaning solution flow path, and a drainage flow path. The blood purifier has an inner portion divided by a semi-permeable membrane into a first portion and a second portion. The vascular access flow path is connected to the blood purifier and is in communication with the first portion. The cleaning solution flow path is connected to the blood purifier and is in communication with the first portion. The drainage flow path is connected to the blood purifier and is in communication with the second portion. The cleaning solution flow path is provided with a blood pump capable of bidirectionally feeding a fluid. An open-close valve is provided in each of the vascular access flow path and the drainage flow path.

In a blood purification device containing a blood purifier, a blood circuit, a blood pump, and a dialysate line having a fresh dialysate supply line and a used dialysate discharge line, a pair of plunger pumps are disposed in the dialysate line. The pair of plunger pumps are synchronized so that delivery of a fresh dialysate from one plunger pump and suction of a used dialysate into the other plunger pump simultaneously occur and the stroke of at least one of the pair of plunger pumps is made variable.

Disclosed herein is a blood pressure measuring device including: a pressure measuring tool 110; a fastening member 120 configured to fasten the pressure measuring tool 110 in rest position onto a skin region covering an anastomotic region of a shunt blood vessel 201; and a control circuit 130 configured to receive an input signal from the pressure measuring tool 110 and to process the input signal to calculate a pressure inside the anastomotic region of the shunt blood vessel 201.
