Abstract: An electric vehicle control method including using a first motor and a second motor as travel drive sources, performing drive control on the first motor by transmitting a first torque command value to a first inverter, and performing drive control on the second motor by transmitting a second torque command value to a second inverter, and performing switching control of switching, based on a required drive force, the drive control on the second motor by the second inverter between an ON state in which the drive control is performed and an OFF state in which the drive control is stopped, wherein a torque fluctuation amount generated in the second motor during the switching control is calculated based on a rotation speed of the second motor, and the first torque command value is corrected based on the torque fluctuation amount.

Abstract: A method for controlling an electric vehicle driven by a plurality of electric motors including a first electric motor, in which a lubricant, which is used for lubricating the electric motors and power transmission systems therefor, is used for cooling the electric motors is provided. The method includes setting torque distributions for the plurality of electric motors on the basis of a driving force required by the electric vehicle controlling the drive of the plurality of electric motors on the basis of the set torque distributions and circulating intermittently the lubricant used for cooling the first electric motor when the torque distribution set for the first electric motor is smaller than a predetermined value which is regarded as a reference value.

Abstract: A cooling structure is provided for a dynamo-electric machine. The cooling structure has a refrigerant supply path for introducing a refrigerant into a rotor, and refrigerant outlets that are opened to the refrigerant supply path so that the refrigerant will be splashed onto the coil ends of a stator as the rotor rotates. Blocking wall members are provided in refrigerant splash paths between the refrigerant outlets and the coil ends for blocking a portion of the refrigerant, which splashes from the refrigerant outlets when the rotor rotates. The rate at which the blocking wall members shield the coil ends against the refrigerant is low when the rotor rotates at a low speed and is high when the rotor rotates at a high speed.
