    Abstract: An endoscopic hood and an endoscope to which the endoscopic hood is attached improve visibility for the user. The endoscopic hood includes a body formed of a transparent cylinder having two open ends and a conductive film embedded integrally in the body. The conductive film includes a transparent film and a transparent electrode pattern on the transparent film. The transparent electrode pattern includes a transparent electrode, a transparent wire portion extending from the transparent electrode, and a transparent terminal at an end of the transparent wire portion. The transparent terminal is exposed from the body. The endoscope includes an insertion portion insertable into a body of a subject, the endoscopic hood attached to a distal end of the insertion portion, and at least one wire having one end electrically connected to the transparent terminal and another end electrically connected to an external device.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing an electrode film includes the steps of laminating a metal layer and a black photoresist layer sequentially on a first main surface of a transparent base material, subjecting the black photoresist layer to patterning in a mesh shape by partially exposing the black photoresist layer and performing development, processing the metal layer into a metal mesh electrode by subjecting the metal layer to etching by using the black photoresist layer subjected to the patterning as an etching mask until the metal layer has a width smaller than a width of a thin wire line constituting a mesh of the black photoresist layer, and covering an upper surface and both side surfaces of a thin wire line constituting a mesh of the metal mesh electrode with the black photoresist layer by heating and softening the black photoresist layer to cause the black photoresist layer softened to flow.

    Abstract: A touch sensor with a circularly polarizing plate includes an electrostatic capacitance type touch sensor. A circularly polarizing plate is arranged on a visible side of the electrostatic capacitance type touch sensor. The sensor includes a transparent substrate and a plurality of first electrodes individually formed in a strip shape on the transparent substrate. The sensor additionally includes a plurality of second electrodes formed on a surface of the transparent substrate opposite to a surface on which the first electrodes are formed. The second electrodes have a strip shape in a manner of intersecting with the first electrodes. The first electrodes are made of a metal mesh. The second electrodes are made of a plurality of conductive nanowires, existing in a connecting state respectively so as to be conductively connected, and a binder resin holding the plurality of conductive nanowires on the second transparent substrate.

    Abstract: To provide a sensor-equipped hood capable of detecting force applied to the hood without narrowing an operating field viewed through the hood. A sensor-equipped hood protrudes from a tip end portion of an endoscope main body, and is attached to the tip end portion. The sensor-equipped hood includes a transparent tubular hood main body and a fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensor fixed to a first fixing point of the hood main body and having a Bragg grating. In the FBG sensor, the wavelength of reflected light at the Bragg grating changes based on fluctuation of the first fixing point in the hood main body.

    Abstract: A molded body is molded into a prescribed three-dimensional shape. A protective film covers at least a portion of a surface of the molded body. A circuit film is integrally molded with the molded body. An electric circuit is installed in the circuit film and causes a physical change outside of a molded article or causes an electric signal to be generated in accordance with a physical change outside of the molded article. The protective film or the circuit film has a contact area disposed on the surface of a contact portion. The molded body includes a hot melt adhesive: which is disposed on the surface of the molded body which is opposite skin, with the contact area therebetween; and which defines a three-dimensional shape of the contact area within the prescribed shape. The hot melt adhesive covers at least a portion of the circuit film.
