Abstract: A fluororubber composition that is a kneaded mixture of a carbon nanotube masterbatch comprising 4 to 20 parts by weight of multilayer carbon nanotubes, which are fibrous carbon nanostructures that do not contain monolayer carbon nanotubes, based on 100 parts by weight of a fluororubber polymer, and a fluororubber raw material comprising at least a fluororubber polymer and a reinforcing filler, in which the multilayer carbon nanotubes are compounded in an amount of 0.5 to 6 wt. % in the kneaded mixture. The kneading is performed using a roll or a kneader when the fluororubber composition is produced. The fluororubber composition can provide a fluororubber crosslinked molded article that exhibits abrasion resistance and blister resistance.

Abstract: A hydrogenated NBR composition having 40 to 80 parts by weight of silica having a BET specific surface area of 40 to 100 m2/g, and 0.5 to 3 parts by weight of a silane coupling agent, based on 100 parts by weight of a hydrogenated NBR blend of 35 to 50 wt. % of medium- to high-nitrile-content hydrogenated NBR having an acrylonitrile content of 30 to 38%, and 65 to 50 wt. % of high-nitrile-content hydrogenated NBR having an acrylonitrile content of 40 to 46%. The hydrogenated NBR composition satisfies various characteristics required for product functions with respect to HFC134a/PAG oil and HFO1234yf/POE oil.

Abstract: A sealing member for mechanical seals, which is a peroxide vulcanized molded article of a hydrogenated nitrile rubber having a bound acrylonitrile content of less than 20% and an iodine number of 20 mg/100 g or less. The sealing member for mechanical seals is obtained as a peroxide vulcanized molded article of a hydrogenated nitrile rubber composition comprising 0 to 5 parts by weight of carbon black, 20 to 100 parts by weight of silica, and 0.5 to 3 parts by weight of silane coupling agent, based on 100 parts by weight of hydrogenated nitrile rubber, and preferably further compounding 50 parts by weight or less of titanium oxide non-reinforcing filler. The obtained vulcanized molded article is to provide a sealing member for mechanical seals that can achieve desired LLC resistance, and that has excellent compression set characteristics, cold resistance, processability, hardness, etc.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an HNBR composition and an HNBR crosslinked body excellent in abrasion resistance and pressure resistance. The object is achieved by an HNBR composition containing 3 to 20 parts by weight of carbon fibers or wollastonite as a hard filler per 100 parts by weight of a hydrogenated nitrile rubber and containing 72 to 87 parts by weight of a carbon black having an average particle diameter of 40 to 50 nm, an iodine adsorption of 35 to 49 g/kg, and a DBP oil absorption of 100 to 160 ml/100 g, as well as an HNBR crosslinked body acquired by crosslinking the HNBR composition.
