Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure provide a method, device and computer readable medium for new radio management measurement. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the terminal device may share partially overlapped time slots between the intra-frequency measurement and the measurement gap. In this way, the priority of intra-frequency measurement and the inter-frequency measurement may be controlled by the network device. The network device may also know the terminal device behaviors and the expected measurement performances related to the behaviors.

Abstract: A technique includes maintaining a signal-to-noise ratio of the transmitted reference signals to be less than a lower signal-to-noise ratio threshold for a first period of time that is a sufficient length of time to allow a correctly operating user device to detect an out-of-sync status and subsequently declare a radio link failure with respect to the connection, increasing, after the maintaining, the signal-to-noise ratio of the reference signals transmitted to the user device from the second signal-to-noise ratio to a third signal-to-noise ratio, wherein the third signal-to-noise ratio is greater than an upper signal-to-noise ratio threshold, after the increasing, sending, by the network device to the user device, an uplink resource grant, and confirming that the network device does not receive an uplink transmission from the user device in response to the uplink resource grant within a second period of time.

Abstract: Various communication systems may benefit from improved measurement performance. For example, it may be helpful to manage intra-frequency and inter-frequency allocation in a measurement gap. A method may include receiving at a user equipment a signal comprising a measurement gap usage indication from a network entity. The measurement gap usage indication may include a prioritization of at least one carrier type. The method may also include allocating the measurement gap to grant the prioritized at least one carrier type a percentage of the measurement gap based on the measurement gap usage indication.

Abstract: Various communication systems may benefit from insight regarding when a device is performing power saving operations. For example, wireless communication systems may benefit from secondary cell state activation and deactivation of measurement gaps. A method can include determining, by a user equipment, whether a secondary cell is in an activated state or an inactivated state. The method can also include selectively enabling or disabling measurement gaps for the user equipment based on the determined state of the secondary cell.

Abstract: A method includes: receiving, at a user equipment, a first information of a first gap for a first reference signal to be measured and a second information of a second gap for a second reference signal to be measured, wherein the first gap and the second gap overlap at least partially; and, determining at least one of: a first duration of a gap length based on a union of the first gap and the second gap, and a second duration of a gap length based on a selection of the first gap or the second gap corresponding to one of the first reference signal and the second reference signal.

Abstract: A method, device and computer readable medium for performing measurements in telecommunication systems are disclosed. The method includes receiving, from a first network device, a first configuration of a first measurement object for a carrier frequency; receiving, from a second network device, a second configuration of a second measurement object for the carrier frequency; determining an absolute time difference between a first measurement timing in the first configuration and a second measurement timing in the second configuration; and in response to determining that the absolute time difference is below a predetermined threshold, performing a single measurement for the carrier frequency based on the first measurement timing in the first configuration or the second measurement timing in the second configuration.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for enhanced radio link monitoring (RLM) are provided. One method may include signaling, by a network node, information to at least one user equipment. The information may include an indication of a maximum number of physical downlink control channel repetition and aggregation level(s). The indication may be independent from the physical downlink control channel repetition and aggregation level that the at least one user equipment is configured to monitor for data transfer.
