Abstract: A method may include transmitting a request groupcast message to a plurality of user equipment for their respective preferred or non-preferred resources. The method may also include receiving an information message including the preferred or the non-preferred resources from each user equipment of the plurality of user equipment in response to the request groupcast message. The method may further include identifying, based on the information message, at least one resource from the preferred or non-preferred resources for selection by the plurality of user equipment. In addition, the method may include notifying, via information tethering, to each user equipment of the plurality of user equipment, the identified at least one resource that corresponds to the apparatus and to each user equipment of the plurality of user equipment.

Abstract: Certain examples of the present disclosure relate to positioning, for example positioning in New Radio, NR, spectra and NR-Unlicensed, NR-U, spectra. Certain examples provide apparatus (10) comprising means (12,13) for: receiving configuration information (4061, 4062), wherein the configuration information comprises information for configuring a transmission or a reception, by the apparatus to or from at least one node a Radio Access Network, RAN, (110, 120) of a set of Reference Signals, RSs (4091); wherein the set of RSs comprises: at least a first RS (NR RS) to be transmitted or received within a first frequency range, and at least a second RS (NR-U RS) to be transmitted or received within a second frequency range, and based at least in part on the configuration information, causing the transmission or the reception of the set of RSs to or from the at least one node of the RAN.

Abstract: Examples of the disclosure relate to sidelink positioning. In examples of the disclosure a UE is configured to determine Discontinuous Reception (DRX) assistance information for sidelink positioning. The DRX assistance information comprises information indicative of a DRX configuration information for one or more target UEs. The UE can then enable transmission of the DRX assistance information to one or more candidate anchor UEs.

Abstract: Aspects and embodiments relate generally to mechanisms to support power saving in a wireless communication network and more particularly to supporting discontinuous reception of a wake-up signal receiver at an apparatus comprising a wake-up signal receiver and a main radio receiver. One aspect provides an apparatus, comprising: a main radio receiver; a wake-up signal receiver; and a timer. The wake-up signal receiver comprises: circuitry configured to receive at least a portion of a broadcast message; circuitry configured to evaluate the received portion of the broadcast message to determine a time marker; and circuitry configured to provide the time marker to the timer. The apparatus may comprise a UE and may therefore be configured to align internal time keeping with the time keeping of a network, thus allowing discontinuous reception and associated energy savings, without transmission of additional specific synchronisation messaging by a network.
