Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a device, method, apparatus and computer readable storage medium for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback for adjustment of contention window size for communication in an unlicensed band. In example embodiments, if it is determined that a failure of transmission in an unlicensed occurs, the device determines a cause of the failure of the transmission is determined based on received information associated with a transmission collision. Then, the device adjusts a size of a contention window for a listen-before-talk procedure.

In an example method, a first terminal device in a radio access network comprises at least one processor; and at least one memory including computer program code; the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the first terminal device to: transmit, to a second terminal device in the radio access network, control information associated with a sidelink (SL) positioning reference signal (PRS) during a SL positioning session for positioning of the second terminal device, using a resource for the control information in a Physical Sidelink Feedback Channel (PSFCH) symbol or in at least one symbol dedicated for the control information. In this way, the first terminal device can efficiently transmit control information to the second terminal device with backward compatibility.

Abstract: A physical sidelink feedback channel custom indication may be defined to indicate a half-duplex collision between one or more sidelink UE to a transmitting UE involved in the collision. In response to the indication, the transmitting UE may not retransmit the packet involved in the collision, and may stay awake for an extended period of time. A receiving UE that identified the collision and transmitted the indication may retransmit the packets involved in the collision to the transmitting UEs that have not yet received the respective packets.
