    摘要: Disclosed are embodiments of display modules, assemblies of display modules, and systems of display modules. Display modules have a plurality of light emitting elements arranged in a predetermined pattern and providing a highly uniform visual effect. Alignment and complementary alignment features enable the alignment of adjacent display modules and the creation of large displays from a plurality of aligned display modules. Features to grip and retain a support frame are provided. Modules and systems have features that permit installation and removal from the front side of the display. A system of modular support frames works cooperatively with the display modules, adapting to different mounting environments, and thereby providing large modular displays with desirable properties.

    摘要: Disclosed are embodiments of photo-luminescent display systems and photo-luminescent visual elements creating eye-catching displays of visual advertising or marketing messages that are very effective at generating interest, engagement, and loyalty in the viewing public. Photo-luminescent pigment containing visual elements are illuminated by one or more remotely located emitters at a first wavelength that is outside the human visual spectrum. In response, the visual elements then radiate at one or more wavelengths within the human visual spectrum. Additional features control unwanted reflections and unwanted transmission of radiation at the first wavelength. Additional features control the uniformity of radiation of one or more wavelengths within the human visual spectrum.

    摘要: A display system and methods; in general, a plurality of display sub-assemblies collectively creating a viewing plane. Each display sub-assembly having a plurality of light emitting elements on a substrate with a plurality of substantially equal pixel gaps between light emitting elements. Bend gaps are provided between pixels that enable the display sub-assemblies to bend thereby creating a curved viewing plane. A mobile LED panel display may be formed of a plurality of LED display modules having a plurality of pixels, four or more casters, a battery powered supply, a media player (electrically communicating with the plurality of display modules for controlling the display of images on the LED panel display, and a removable content storage device and; thus, functions as a rugged, light weight, battery powered display to inform customers and passers-by about product and service offerings via a rugged person size mobile light weight battery powered display.

    摘要: Disclosed are embodiments of apparatus and methods that provide light emitting displays with improved wide angle color viewing. A plurality of light emitting elements is arranged in a predetermined pattern and collectively creates a viewing plane. A portion of the light emitting elements are disposed in a primary orientation while the remainder of the light emitting element are disposed in a complementary orientation. Each light emitting element in a primary orientation is adjacent to a light emitting element in the complementary orientation. The spatial light emission pattern of the primary orientation is complementary to the spatial light emission pattern of the complementary orientation. Adjacent pairs of primary-complementary oriented light emitting elements cancel a substantial amount of color variation that would otherwise be seen when one varies the gaze angle upon the viewing plane.
