摘要： An information processing apparatus includes a managing unit that manages a scale calculated based on descriptions of an operation performed on a predetermined item and a series to which the item belongs in association with each other, a first extracting unit that extracts items belonging to the same series as top N series, obtained by sorting the scales, from among a plurality of items, a taste managing unit that manages taste of a user, a second extracting unit that calculates the degree of similarity between the taste managed by the taste managing unit and each item to extract items with higher degrees of similarity, and a recommending unit that recommends a predetermined number of items among the items extracted by the first extracting unit and the items extracted by the second extracting unit to the user.

摘要： An information processing apparatus includes a correction unit configured to correct item feature quantities representing, as an item, features of a recommendation target item for which a recommendation process for recommending an item having features resembling those of the recommendation target item is performed by using user preferences representing preferences of a recommendation target user who is a party to whom the item is recommended with respect to the item; a matching unit configured to compare the item feature quantities corrected by the correction unit with the item feature quantities of another item and search for another item having item feature quantities that resemble those of the recommendation target item; and a recommendation unit configured to recommend related items having features resembling those of the recommendation target item on the basis of the result of the matching by the matching unit.

摘要： An item recommendation system includes: a feedback receiving unit receiving feedbacks with respect to items by users; a feedback history storage unit storing information of feedbacks received at present or in the past by the feedback receiving unit in units of combinations of users and items; a relevance calculation unit calculating relevance between items base on first information indicating the degree in which the same user gives feedbacks to respective items and second information indicating the degree in which many users give feedbacks by using feedback information stored by the feedback history storage unit when receiving the feedback by the feedback receiving unit; and a recommendation unit immediately recommending items having higher relevance with respect to the item to the user who has given the feedback to the item by the feedback receiving unit based on the relevance calculated by the relevance calculation unit.
