摘要: A method and system of characterizing a job market is provided. The available job postings of a job market are determined. For each job posting, one or more technical skills, a job role level, and one or more professional capabilities related to the job posting are determined. The professional capabilities are aggregated by job dimensions. The determined technical skills and the professional capabilities of each job posting and the aggregated professional capabilities are stored in a database as reference data. A job capability profile for one or more job dimensions is provided based on the stored reference data in the database.

摘要: Systems, devices, media, and methods are presented for identifying attributes among sets of user profiles to generate graphical user interfaces displaying data sets based on queries and the identified attributes. The systems and methods identify a set of common attributes among a subset of users and determine that a subset of user profiles for the subset of users contain a common characteristic. The systems and methods generate a cluster representation of the set of common attributes and determine one or more common attributes introduced into the subset of user profiles within a specified period of time. In response to determining the one or more common attributes, the systems and methods cause presentation of the one or more common attributes within a graphical user interface and cause presentation of one or more data sets associated with the one or more common attributes.

摘要: An information processing apparatus includes: importance calculation means configured to calculate an experience importance degree of content for a user based the basis of a relationship among a reaction analysis result obtained by performing predetermined analysis on a reaction (attitude) of the user to the content at the time when the user experiences the content, an environment analysis result obtained by performing predetermined analysis on an external environment of the user at the time when the user experiences the content, a signal analysis result obtained by performing predetermined analysis on a video signal or voice signal of the content, and a language analysis result obtained by performing predetermined language analysis on language information described about the content; and determination means configured to, if the experience importance degree of the content calculated by the importance calculation means is high, determine the content as recommendation content to be recommended to the user.

摘要: A method includes obtaining from an online social media site a plurality of instances of images of objects associated with a person; analyzing with a data processor the plurality of instances of the images with a plurality of predetermined style classifiers to obtain a score for each image for each style classifier; and determining with the data processor, based on the obtained scores, a likely preference of the person for a particular style of object. The plurality of instances of images of objects associated with the person can be images that were posted, shared or pinned by person, and images that the person expressed a preference for. In a non-limiting embodiment the object is clothing, and the style can include a fashion style or fashion genre including color preferences. A system and a computer program product to perform the method are also disclosed.

摘要: In a network-based system for recommending media content items based on user preferences, clients contact a server on a periodic basis, independent of the user. In addition to client-server interaction, clients also interact with one another in peer-to-peer fashion. Peers query one another and evaluate their similarity to each other in an interactive comparison of user preferences. When two clients are sufficiently similar, the interaction culminates in the originating client downloading content listings from the targeted peer to generate suggestions for their user. If the two clients are dissimilar, the query may be terminated, or the targeted peer may route the query to a second targeted peer. In addition to the lists of preferences, the originating client may download actual content items from the targeted peers.

摘要: Systems, methods, and computer-program products are described for determining current location information which includes determining whether an object is moving by comparing the current location information with previous location information. Future location information is calculated and a point of interest is filtered using the future location information. A media asset is then matched to the filtered point of interest and a current score is determined for the matched media asset. Determining a current score includes determining a window in which the matched media asset is geographically relevant to the future location information, and updating the matched media asset score when the future location information changes. An ordered playlist is dynamically generated according to the future location information by repeatedly prioritizing and sequencing matched media assets according to the current score for each matched media asset, and matched media assets are played or displayed in the ordered playlist.

User activity data for multiple users is collected during an activity window. Based on the collected user activity data, an initial interaction by a user with a source is identified and used to establish a source-related user session beginning at a time of the initial interaction and ending after a session period. A set of impressions (e.g., page views) by the user relating to the target publisher occurring during the user session is identified. The identified set of impressions is associated with the user session. A source-related user activity measurement is calculated based on the identified user sessions and associated impressions occurring during the activity window.

摘要: A method and system implemented for generating a music recommendation intended to surprise and delight a user using data and computer analytics. The method and system collects and categorizes musical preferences using past preferences, user demographics, social media data and psychological variables which include the Big-5 personality traits of the user to generate a profile containing preferred musical parameters. The method and system categorize music based on different dimensions and compare music with a user generated profile containing preferred music parameters. The method and system may search for additional music across two vectors, parameters that closely resemble the preferred musical parameters, and outlying parameters that extend outside the preferred parameters, in order to locate and present musical recommendations that have similarities to the preferred music of the user, but variable enough to surprise and delight the user.

摘要: Mechanisms are provided for retrieving and presenting related content using text stream data feeds. Text stream data feeds such as caption information associated with media content or conversations associated with social networking applications are aggregated and used to retrieve related media content, text documents, and advertisements. Text stream data feeds that a user is exposed to may indicate that the user is interested or at least primed for particular types of related content. In particular examples, an inverse vector space search engine is used to determine particular pieces of related content and categories of interest. Post filtering may also be applied to the results.

The set of results includes a first subset of results not accessible to the first user due to access control. A list of results is provided to the first user. The list excludes the first subset of results. A target result is identified from the first subset of results. An owner is identified with control over access to the target result. The owner is notified that the target result is not accessible to at least one user.
