    摘要: The cylinder block assembly (1a) of a swash plate type refrigerant compressor is formed with a suction passageway (17) in which a refrigerant gas containing a mist-like lubricant oil therein is sucked and passed therethrough, and a cylindrical separating chamber (22) is formed by an extension (21) from an inner wall of the suction passageway and has an opening directed toward an entering direction of a flow of the lubricant oil-containing refrigerant gas. The separating chamber (22) is provided with an bottom wall (22a) having a through-hole for an entrance of the oil, communicating between the separating chamber (22) and a swash plate chamber (4). The refrigerant gas containing the lubricant oil therein enters the cylindrical separating chamber (22) arranged in the suction passageway (17) and impringes upon an inner wall (22b) and the bottom wall (22a), whereby the flow direction thereof is changed, and flows out of the chamber through the opening into the suction passageway to thereby separate the lubricant oil from the refrigerant gas. The separated lubricant oil is supplied from the separating chamber (22) into the swash plate chamber (4), without overflowing from the chamber toward the suction passageway.

The outer peripheral portion of the ring seal member is then axially and inwardly collapsed relative to the inner peripheral portion thereof so that one of the side surfaces of the initial seal ring member constitutes an outer sealing surface for engagement with the cylinder bore and the outer peripheral portion in the original shape is arranged on the side of said compression chamber. A backup ring member fitted in the ring groove on the side of the continuous seal ring member remote from the compression chamber has a surface area abutting against the side surface of the ring groove on the side remote from the compression chamber and sufficient to retain the continuous seal ring member in the ring groove.

The intermediate pressure chamber and the thin fluid passageway prevent evacuation of the lubricating oil from the swash plate chamber to the suction chamber even during the rotation of the compressor at a high speed, to thereby promote a lubrication of the thrust bearings, the shoes, and the swash plate.

The buffer structure comprises a first bearing interposed between a first surface of the swash plate and the cylinder block. The buffer structure has a second bearing interposed between a second surface of the swash plate and the cylinder block. One of the bearings is arranged to be flexibly deformable to absorb the axial load while the other bearing is arranged to be rigid to receive the axial load and transmit the axial load to the cylinder block.

    摘要: A swash plate type compressor includes a cylinder blocks having a crank case which communicates with a suction port and a plurality of bores formed therein. The ends of each bore are covered with a pair of housings. The bores communicate with discharge chambers. A drive shaft is rotatably placed within the cylinder blocks. A swash plate is rotatable in the crank case, and is mounted on the drive shaft. A plurality of pistons are drivably coupled to the swash plate, and are reciprocotable in their respective bores. As the pistons reciprocate, a refrigerant in the crank case is sucked into each bore and is compressed therein. The compressed refrigerant is discharged into the discharge chambers from the bores. A passage for transporting the refrigerant between the discharge chambers is formed along the axis of the drive shaft. Seals are provided between the cylinder blocks and the drive shaft for sealing the gap between the discharge chambers and the crank case.

    摘要: A swash plate type compressor is provided with a front and rear cylinder blocks having a crank case connected to a suction port. The cylinder blocks include a plurality of cylinders, and are connected to a front and rear housing sections for covering the cylinders. Each housing section contains a discharge chamber. A drive shaft is rotatabley supported by the cylinder blocks. A swash plate is mounted on the drive shaft and is rotatably disposed within the crank case. Two-head pistons move within their respective cylinders in cooperation with the swash plate. The refrigerant is drawn into, and compressed in each cylinder. Thereafter, it is discharged into the external refrigerating circuit through the front and rear discharge chambers, and a final discharge port. A discharge passage includes a hollow primary passage which is provided within the drive shaft. The primary passage communicates with the front and rear discharge chambers. A groove is provided on an inner wall of the primary passage. As the drive shaft rotates, the groove separates the refrigerant from the lubricating oil mixed with the refrigerant. An oil passage is provided between the discharge chamber and the crank case. The separated oil flows from the discharge chamber to the crank case, through the oil passage, and is used again in lubricating the components of the compressor.
