摘要: Inter-frequency handoffs in a CDMA or other wireless communication system are controlled using a noise-limited coverage trigger metric which is able to distinguish between same-frequency cell boundaries and other-frequency cell boundaries in the system. The trigger metric may be generated as a function of an average signal-to-noise measure for pilot signals received at a mobile station of the system and a linear sum of the signal-to-noise measures. The signal-to-noise measures may be generated in the mobile station and included in messages transmitted from the mobile station to one or more base stations of the system. The trigger metric is used to control a handoff from a current frequency to a new frequency in an ongoing call. The trigger metric may alternatively be based on a measure of mobile receive power alone. Other aspects of the invention reduce unnecessary searching for a new frequency and decrease the likelihood of “ping-ponging” from a current frequency to a new frequency by providing additional checks in the handoff process. For example, receive power and pilot signal-to-noise measures may be generated at a mobile station for both current and new frequencies. The mobile station then continues to operate at the current frequency as long as certain predetermined threshold conditions based on the measures are satisfied.

摘要: Methods and systems for equalization of a first receiver. A method may include receiving an input signal at the first receiver. The method may also include receiving the input signal at a second receiver. The method may further include determining, from an output response of the second receiver, an estimate of an out-of-channel interferer present in the input signal. The method may also include determining an estimate, of an undesired in-channel response of the first receiver to the out-of-channel interferer present in the input signal. The method may include applying the estimate, of the undesired in-channel response of the first receiver to the out-of-channel interferer present in the input signal, to an output signal of the first receiver to substantially cancel an instance of an undesired in-channel response of the first receiver to the out-of-channel interferer.

摘要: The present invention provides a totally-enclosed integrative access system, the system adopts a die-cast case that consists of an upper cover and a lower cover, the joint face between the upper cover and the lower cover is sealed, and the peripheries of the upper cover and the lower cover are configured with cooling teeth, heating parts in the system contact closely with the inside wall of the upper cover and/or the lower cover; and the heating parts comprise: a user panel, a system control panel and a power panel. A power consumption reduction method for a totally-enclosed integrative access system is also provided in the present invention, comprising: the system control panel detects traffic on the user panel; when the traffic detected is lower than a predefined lower limit value, the system control panel enters a low frequency working mode; when the traffic detected reaches a predefined upper limit value, the system control panel restores its normal working frequency. The present invention solves existing problems with integrative access devices, comprising loud noise, parts susceptible to damage, inflexible installation and inconvenient engineering maintenance.

摘要: An electronic device with slideable covers is provided. The electronic device includes a main body. Two sliding slots are defined in each of side surfaces of the main body, and a receiving space is defined in one end of each sliding slot, another receiving space is defined in opposite end of each sliding slot. The sliding slots communicate with the receiving spaces defined in two opposite ends of the sliding slot, and the width of the sliding slots is less than the width of the receiving spaces. The electronic device further includes two covers and four connecting members. Each cover includes two rings for fixing two connecting members. The connecting members slideably connect the covers to the main body. The connecting members are able to slide in the sliding slots and the receiving spaces.

摘要: The present invention relates to a personal toothpick having an adjustable inter-teeth inserting portion. The inter-teeth inserting portion is bendable to be formed at any angle. Thereafter, the inter-teeth inserting portion is forced laterally between any of the teeth, such as the back teeth, while the handle is at the front of the jaw, instead of being placed in redial position with reference to the curvature of the jaw. Accordingly, the toothpick can easily remove the foreign matters in small spaces between adjacent teeth, especially the back teeth.
