Abstract:
An object of the present invention is to provide a massaging apparatus that faithfully incorporates the rhythm or melody of a music source and performs massage with accents arranged more effectively based on these. A massaging apparatus of the present invention comprises massaging mechanisms (4, 5) that give mechanical impulses to a body by driving motors (5a, 10, 11), and a control device (13) that controls operations of the motors. The control device (13) comprises a waveform converter (18) having a waveform converting circuit for converting a waveform of an audio signal input from a sound source (A), such as a smoothing circuit, a differentiating circuit, or an integrating circuit, and a specific frequency band signal selecting unit (17) having a low pass filter, a high pass filter, and a band pass filter. In accordance with a control signal output from the waveform converter (18) and the specific frequency band signal selecting unit (17), the operations of the motors are controlled.
Abstract:
A massaging apparatus in which a position of a specific portion such as a user's shoulder with respect to the massaging apparatus can be determined automatically and accurately in a simple construction. The massaging apparatus includes a supporting arm having a therapeutic member pivotally supported thereon and freely movable along the user's body. The position of the specific portion of the user with respect to the massaging apparatus is determined from the relation between the vertical position of the supporting arm and the pivotal position of the supporting arm. A pivotal movement detecting system detects that the supporting arm reaches a prescribed range of pivotal movement is provided. The position of the specific portion of the user with respect to the massaging apparatus is determined from the position of the supporting arm at the moment when the pivotal movement of the supporting arm reaches the prescribed range.
Abstract:
An improved massaging apparatus includes a massaging element for performing a massaging action, a drive mechanism for driving the massaging element, diagnostic inquiry means for addressing a diagnostic inquiry to a user, input means for inputting a user's answer to the diagnostic inquiry, judgment means for judging the physical condition of the user based on the user's answer, setting means for setting massaging conditions of a massage operation based on the judgment made by the judgment means, and execution means for causing the drive mechanism to drive the massaging element according to the massaging conditions set by the setting means.
Abstract:
A massaging apparatus enabled to provide sufficient treatment effects by stimulating the Keiketsu (or the effective spots) in the Eastern Medical Science effectively. The massaging apparatus comprises: memory devices recorded with treatment contents indicating effective point positions to be massaged according to a treatment course and massage actions to be applied to the effective spot positions; and control devices for causing the massage member to massage the effective spot positions of the body of the using person in accordance with the treatment contents recorded in the memory devices. The massaging apparatus further comprises: treatment course select devices for selecting the treatment course. The treatment contents corresponding to the treatment course selected by the treatment course select devices are read out from the memory devices so that the effective spot positions of the body of the using person may be massaged with the massage member by the control devices in accordance with the read treatment contents.
Abstract:
The arm and hand can be reliably massaged with a massaging machine having a chair body 5 having a seat 2 and a backrest 3; an armrest 7 provided to the side of the seat 2; a tunnel-shaped support 22 provided to stand from the armrest 7 so as to enable the massagee's arm or hand placed on the armrest 7 to be inserted therein; and expanding/contracting massage air cells 34, 35 provided to the inner surface of the tunnel-shaped support 22.
Abstract:
Provided is a massage machine capable of performing a rubbing operation and a pressing operation separately on different areas of the back surface of a body part of a person to be treated while performing the rubbing operation on the side surface of the body part. Specifically provided is a massage machine (M1 (M2)) provided with a rubbing unit (1) comprising a pair of rubbing parts (2, 2) for applying a rubbing massage to a body part of a person to be treated and a rubbing driving part (3) for driving the rubbing parts (2). The rubbing parts (2) comprise a pair of first rubbing parts (12, 12) disposed on both sides of the body part and reciprocating in the direction along the side surface of the body part, and a pair of second rubbing parts (13, 13) disposed on the back surface of the body part and reciprocating in the direction along the back surface of the body part and in the direction crossing the back surface.
Abstract:
The present invention is aimed at providing a chair-like massaging apparatus and a forearm massager for use with the chair-like massaging apparatus, which are capable of massaging a forearm of a user as desired and allow the user to take a free posture because of absence of an arm obstructing part in an upper portion of an armrest when the forearm is not to be massaged. To this end, the massaging apparatus of the present invention is configured such that an arm rest (5) configured to support a forearm of the user is provided with a detachable member (38) that is movable along a guide rail (37) and the detachable member (38) is provided with a fitting groove (39). A forearm massager (7) configured to be capable of giving pressure stimulation to the forearm with the forearm of the user sandwiched between the fix and support portion (46) and the pressing portion (47) is provided with a fitting protrusion (40) fitted in the fitting groove (39). By removably fitting the fitting protrusion (40) into the fitting groove (39), the forearm massager (7) is removably attached to the armrest (5).
