摘要: This invention includes uses and methods of preparing phosphites and/or hyposphosphites (and their polymeric forms and/or their salts) and phosphite-based agrochemicals (fertilizers and biocides) from phosphate or other naturally occurring or synthetic phosphorus sources using anaerobic microbial fermentation. The fermentation process produces both a liquid and solid phase phosphite/hypophosphite salts which can be used as an agrochemical product.

摘要: A new and distinct cultivar of seedless lemon named ‘Limoneira Seedless’ characterized by early bearing in August through to March in the inland citrus areas of South East Turkey and Riverside, Calif. The trees can be induced to flower by irrigation stress in summer, resulting in a late spring crop of lemons. It is further characterized by being commercially seedless. The fruit has acceptable rind thickness, acid-sugar ratios and color. The skin has a smooth texture. The fruit has an average juice content of 30-40% at harvest. The fruit shape is typically ovoid.

摘要: Novel materials for controlling molluscs, such as snails and slugs, using carbohydrates including celluloses, hemicellulose complexes, and/or lignin, for inducing death in molluscs. The materials are non-toxic, will not contaminate a drinking water supply, will not harm fish, birds or wild life, will not cause any harmful effects if swallowed or absorbed through the skin, will not harm children or pets, and can be safely eaten by domestic animals and livestock that may consume such dead molluscs. The materials may be applied in various formulations at various water contents. The materials do not provide nutrition to the molluscs, and disrupt normal bodily functions resulting in death. An attractant may be included to encourage ingestion by the molluscs.
