Abstract: A ventilation component (1) includes a gas-permeable membrane (10), a ventilation valve (20), and a structural member (30). The ventilation component (1) is to be attached to a housing (2) having a ventilation opening (5). The ventilation valve (20) includes an elastic body, and is opened and closed by elastic deformation of the elastic body. The structural member (30) supports the gas-permeable membrane (10) and the ventilation valve (20). In an attached state where the ventilation component (1) is attached to the housing (2), ventilation between an inside of the housing (2) and an outside of the housing (2) is carried out via the gas-permeable membrane (10), and the ventilation valve (20) is opened to discharge a gas inside the housing 2 to the outside of the housing 2 when a difference between a pressure inside the housing (2) and a pressure outside the housing (2) is equal to or higher than a predetermined value. The elastic body included in the ventilation valve (20) is formed of a rubber whose rate of change in breaking strength is 95% to 120%.

Abstract: A ventilation housing of the present disclosure includes: a housing; and a ventilation assembly. The housing includes a tubular projection extending to project from an outer surface and internally having a first space communicating the inside and the outside of the housing. The ventilation assembly includes: an internal member being a tubular body having an opening at a first end portion and an opening at a second end portion; a gas-permeable membrane covering the opening at the first end portion of the internal member; and an external member being a tubular body having a bottom, the external member being joined to the internal member with the internal member inserted in the interior of the external member from the first end portion side. The ventilation assembly is fixed to the projection with the projection inserted in the opening at the second end portion of the internal member to make an inner peripheral surface of the internal member and an outer peripheral surface of the projection abut each other. The ventilation assembly has a second space serving as a ventilation path connecting the gas-permeable membrane and the outside of the ventilation assembly in the inside of the internal member, the inside of the external member, and/or an interspace between the internal member and the external member joined together. A height H1 of the internal member is 6 to 10 mm. A ratio of the height H1 of the internal member to a height H2 of the projection is 1.00 to 1.70. The ventilation housing of the present disclosure exhibits excellent performance in terms of moisture permeation between the inside and the outside of the housing and is capable of reducing dropping of the ventilation assembly from the projection of the housing.

Abstract: A ventilation system 1 includes: a housing 2 having at least one pair of ventilation holes 21; and a piezoelectric blower 3 attached to at least one of the pair of ventilation holes 21. The piezoelectric blower 3 is operative to vibrate a diaphragm by a piezoelectric element so as to produce air circulation through the ventilation holes 21. With this configuration, it is possible to produce forced convection while saving space, since the piezoelectric blower 3 has the shape of a thin plate. In addition, since the piezoelectric blower 3 continuously operates while being supplied with electricity, moisture can be discharged from the interior of the housing 2 to the outside in a short time.

Abstract: A ventilation component includes a valve body portion, a shaft portion, a ventilation path, and a gas-permeable membrane. The shaft portion extends in a normal direction of the valve body portion. The shaft portion supports the valve body portion. The ventilation path extends through the shaft portion. The gas-permeable membrane closes the ventilation path. In a state where the ventilation component is fixed to a housing, a flow of gas passing through a peripheral opening is blocked by the valve body portion, and ventilation occurs between an inner space and an external space via the gas-permeable membrane. When a pressure difference obtained by subtracting a pressure of the external space from a pressure of the inner space is equal to or higher than a predetermined value, the valve body portion elastically deforms to be away from an outer surface to release the pressure of the inner space.

Abstract: The ventilation unit includes: an explosion-proof valve that permits gas to flow from the inside of a housing to the outside of the housing when internal pressure within the housing is higher than external pressure outside the housing by a value larger than or equal to a predetermined value, and is capable of returning to block the flow of the gas from the inside of the housing to the outside of the housing; and a ventilation membrane that permits gas to flow between the inside and the outside of the housing even when a pressure difference between the internal pressure and the external pressure is less than the predetermined value.
