A toner for developing electrostatic image comprising a toner particle containing a binding resin is disclosed. which, and In the toner the binding resin has a domain-matrix structure composed of a high elastic resin composing a domain and a low elastic resin composing a matrix, an arithmetic mean value of ratio (L/W) of the Length L to Width W of the domains is 1.5 to 5.0, domains having Length L in the range of 60 to 500 nm exist 80 number % or more, and domains having Width Win the range of 45 to 100 nm exist 80 number % or more, in a viscoelastic image of a cross section of the toner particle observed via an atomic force microscope.

An image forming method comprising the steps of: (i) charging a surface of a photoreceptor; (ii) exposing the charged photoreceptor to form an electrostatic latent image; (iii) developing the electrostatic latent image using a toner comprising at least a release agent to form a toner image; (iv) transferring the toner image on the photoreceptor to a transfer material; and (v) fixing the toner image transferred on the transfer material employing a contact-heating fixing devise comprising a pair of belts, wherein the releasing agent comprises a first release agent component containing a monoester compound represented by Formula (1) and a second release agent component containing a hydrocarbon having a branched chain structure, wherein a content of the first release agent is 40 to 98% by mass, based on a total mass of the first release agent component and the second release agent component: R1—COO—R2. An electrostatic latent image developing toner contains toner particles each of which has a shell layer on the surface of a core particle comprising at least a first binder resin having a softening point of less than 100° C., a second binder resin having a softening point of not less than 100° C. and a colorant, being applicable to a low-temperature fixing process, and making it possible to achieve conflict functions, such as a heat-resistant storing property, mechanical strength and charge environmental stability.

Disclosed is a manufacturing method of toner which includes at least polyester resin and colorant, comprising the steps of: (A) dissolving, into an organic solvent, the polyester resin and ultrahigh molecular weight styrene resin in which a peak is present in a range larger than 500 thousands and smaller than 3 million in a molecular weight distribution, and preparing a binder resin solution; (B) dispersing the binder resin solution as binder resin solution droplets into an aqueous medium; (C) removing the organic solvent from the binder resin solution droplets, and preparing a resin particle dispersion; and (D) aggregating resin particles from which the organic solvent is removed and colorant particles containing the colorant with each other, and forming toner particles.

The invention provides a pressure measuring method and device that are capable of easily measuring the volume of a pipe that is an object of inspection and of eliminating the influences of a change in temperature in the pipe.A pressure measuring method using a pressure sensor 4 connected to a pipe for feeding a gas thorough a connecting portion for measuring the pressure in the pipe, the method being characterized in that the method comprises a pressurizing step for pressurizing the inside of the pipe by a pump 5 with the pipe held in the closed state, and a step for measuring an amount of pressure change of the pipe in the standing state after completion of the pressurization step, and in that an amount of pressurization change of the in-pipe pressure by the pressurization step, and the flow rate of the gas fed into the pipe during pressurization are measured, and the volume of the pipe in the closed state is calculated on the basis of the amount of pressurization change and the flow rate of the gas, and the amount of leakage of the gas from the pipe is calculated on the basis of the volume of the pipe and the amount of pressure change in the standing state.
