摘要: For improving a cooling efficiency of a display panel in a flat-type image display, various substrates and an image display element are disposed within a thin-sized housing thereof, including: a display panel; a chassis supporting the display panel from a rear surface side thereof; a front surface-side cover on a front side of the display panel; a rear surface-side cover on a rear side of the display panel; an image display element connected to the display panel; a display driver substrate connected to the display panel, and on a surface thereof opposite to the chassis are provided circuit parts; a power source substrate, supplying driving power to the display driver substrate and the image display element, and on a surface thereof opposite to the chassis are provided circuit parts thereof; and a first insulator board opposite to the display driver substrates and the power source substrate of the chassis.

摘要: A flat-type image display, such as, a plasma display, a LCD display, an OLED display, etc., in particular, for improving a cooling efficiency of a display panel, various kinds of substrates and an image display element, within the thin-sized housing thereof, comprises: a display panel; a chassis, which supports the display panel from a rear surface side thereof; a front surface-side cover, which is provided on a front side of the display panel; a rear surface-side cover, which is provided on a rear side of the display panel; an image display element connected with the display panel; a display driver substrate, which is connected with the display panel, and on a surface of which opposite to the chassis are provided circuit parts thereof; a power source substrate, which supplies driving power to the display driver substrate and the image display element, and on a surface of which opposite to the chassis are provided circuit parts thereof; and a first insulator board, which is provided at a position opposite to the display driver substrates and the power source substrate of the chassis.

摘要: White noise images and white noise-like pattern images are discerned by making use of the fact that the address current is increased when such an image is entered and detecting the address current by an address current detection circuit. When the detected address current exceeds a given value α and persists for a given period of time, a CPU controls a contrast control circuit to lower the contrast of the video signal, thus reducing the power consumption of an address driver circuit.

摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide an image display apparatus which enables cost reduction while being free from electromagnetic interference problems.A power supply circuit comprises, on a single circuit board, an AC inlet to which a power cord is connected from an external AC power supply, a filter circuit to which an inductance element is connected to suppress leakage of electromagnetic waves to the outside of the image display apparatus, and a switch which switches on/off an AC output supplied from the filter circuit. The circuit board of the power supply circuit is entirely covered by electromagnetic shielding means to shield electromagnetic waves. The electromagnetic shielding means is composed of, for example, a first shielding section which surrounds the lateral side of the circuit board and a second shielding section which covers the upper side of the circuit board. The second shielding section is formed of a part of the flat section of a rear cover of the image display apparatus.

摘要: The present invention improves the reliability of a display apparatus by suppressing the temperature rise of the display apparatus mounted on a wall. The display apparatus is provided with a wall mount switch to detect a wall mount member if the wall mount member is attached to the rear of the display apparatus. If it is detected by the wall mount switch that the display apparatus is mounted on a wall, the display power supplied to a display unit is set lower than normal by a power controller. This suppresses the temperature rise of the apparatus mounted on a wall.

摘要: The present invention improves the reliability of a display apparatus by suppressing the temperature rise of the display apparatus mounted on a wall. The display apparatus is provided with a wall mount switch to detect a wall mount member if the wall mount member is attached to the rear of the display apparatus. If it is detected by the wall mount switch that the display apparatus is mounted on a wall, the display power supplied to a display unit is set lower than normal by a power controller. This suppresses the temperature rise of the apparatus mounted on a wall.

摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide an image display apparatus which enables cost reduction while being free from electromagnetic interference problems.A power supply circuit comprises, on a single circuit board, an AC inlet to which a power cord is connected from an external AC power supply, a filter circuit to which an inductance element is connected to suppress leakage of electromagnetic waves to the outside of the image display apparatus, and a switch which switches on/off an AC output supplied from the filter circuit. 摘要: A liquid crystal display device with improved thermal exhaustion property, enabling a thickness reduction, includes a backlight including light sources illuminating a liquid crystal panel from a back face, and a chassis holding the backlight. The backlight includes: plural light-source units each including a combination of a LED emitting light in a direction parallel to a display surface of the panel, a wiring board mounted with the LED, and a light-guide plate having translucency for guiding the LED light toward the panel; a metal chassis supporting the light-source units; and a thermally conductive sheet tightly inserted between the metal chassis and a reverse side of the wiring board opposite to the LED-mounted face. A wiring pattern is formed on the reverse side. The metal chassis and the wiring pattern located within a predetermined distance of the LED outer periphery are connected through the thermally conductive sheet.
