摘要: Mechanism on configured grant transmissions is provided. If a small data transmission is needed, a first device determines whether a timing advance is valid in a subsequent CG occasion for the small data transmission. The first device also determines whether an evaluation of a validity condition is applicable in the subsequent CG occasion for the small data transmission. If the timing advance is valid and the evaluation is applicable, the first device performs the small data transmission in the subsequent CG occasion. In this way, the first device is able to perform the evaluation of the validity condition in advance, thereby reducing delays and avoiding failures.

摘要: There are provided apparatuses, methods and computer program products. In accordance with an embodiment, there is disclosed a method comprising activating a secondary cell group provided by a secondary node co-operating with a master node for providing dual-connectivity communication resources for a user equipment. Wherein when the activation is initiated by the master node at least one message is received from the user equipment or from the master node; and initiation of the activation of the secondary cell group provided by the secondary node is determined based on the received at least one message.

Rather than using the spare bit or including additional bits in Msg3, one or more values of the LCID field of the MAC sub-header of the MAC PDU may be used to identify a reduced capability user equipment. The one or more LCID field values that can identify a reduced capability user equipment may also be configured to identify a common control channel service data unit size. A plurality of LCID field values may be defined to identify varies types of RedCap UEs.
