    摘要： A thermally activating apparatus of a thermosensible adhering sheet at least having a thermally activating thermal head, a thermally activating platen roller and controlling means for controlling to process to drive these, having heating means (for example, thermally activating thermal head) for applying thermal energy to a remaining substance comprising a thermosensible adhesive or a denatured substance thereof or the like adhered to a thermally activating thermal head and a thermally activating platen roller, and carrying means (for example, thermally activating platen roller) capable of carrying a predetermined cleaning sheet by inserting the predetermined cleaning sheet into the thermally activating apparatus from a predetermined direction, in which the controlling means is constituted to be able to control to process to drive the heating means and the carrying means, the thermal energy is applied to the remaining substance by making the heating means generate heat in a state in which the thermosensible adhering sheet is not disposed between the thermally activating thermal head and the thermally activating platen roller, and the thermally activated remaining substance is transcribed onto the cleaning sheet to remove by carrying the cleaning sheet between the thermally activating thermal head and the thermally activating platen roller by operating the carrying means.

    摘要： A thermal activation device has a thermal head having heat generating elements for thermally activating a heat-sensitive adhesive layer of a heat-sensitive self-adhesive sheet. The heat-sensitive self-adhesive sheet has a sheet-like substrate having a printable surface on a first side thereof and the heat-sensitive adhesive layer on a second side thereof. An energy control device controls the thermal head by applying one or more voltage pulses to the heat generating elements for energizing the heat generating elements to thereby thermally activate an area of the heat-sensitive self-adhesive layer in one step. When a series of the voltage pulses are applied to the heat generating elements, the energy control device selectively switches between the heat generating elements to be energized by the voltage pulses each time one of the voltage pulses is applied.

    摘要： Providing a thermal head capable of preventing the adherence of a thermally active component, a thermal activation device for thermally active sheet employing the thermal head, and a printer assembly employing the thermal activation device. A thermal head has an arrangement wherein a heat storage layer (glaze layer 2) is formed on a heat releasing substrate (ceramic substrate 1), wherein plural heat generating resistances (3) and electrodes (4a, 4b) for power supply to the individual heat generating resistances are formed on the heat storage layer thereby forming an array of heat generating elements, and wherein a protective layer (7) covers the top surfaces of these parts; and applies thermal activation energy to a print medium (heat-sensitive self-adhesive label R) including a thermally active component by supplying power to the heat-generating element array, the thermal head provided with two substantially parallel lines of anti-adherence layers against thermally-active-component (8a, 8b) on the protective layer in a manner to sandwich a protective layer portion directly above the heat-generating element array.

    摘要： To print a code to be read by a machine as well as information to be read by a user on a limited print surface with efficiency. An ID pattern is defined in a frequency domain and is transformed through an inverse Fourier transform. As a result of the inverse Fourier transform, the ID pattern becomes a pattern (ID background image) dispersed across a screen. In the printing apparatus according to the present invention, the ID background image is set as a background image, on which human-readable information composed of characters, images (designs), and/or the like are printed. Even thought the ID background image is lost, in a portion in which the human-readable information printed, it is possible to restore the ID pattern by Fourier-transforming the pattern in a remaining portion of the ID background image. A print medium, on which the human-readable information is printed with the ID background image as a background, is photographed with a camera provided for a mobile telephone, and photographed image data is transmitted from the mobile telephone to a URL server apparatus. The URL server receives the photographed image data from the mobile telephone, to subject the data to the Fourier transform, to thereby extract the ID pattern therefrom.

Further, access information to a predetermined website is embedded to a label in the final step, which is put on a product delivered to a consumer, through digital watermarking. When photographing a label with a portable terminal having a predetermined function, the consumer can automatically access the predetermined website by means of the portable terminal.
