    摘要: The reflected light amount acquiring process acquires the reflected light amount of a laser beam with which a color changeable layer is irradiated from at least one irradiation position included in a predetermined drawing determination area, where the color changeable layer is formed on a label side of an optical disc and changes in color due to heat or light. The operation process compares the reflected light amount acquired from the at least one irradiation position by the reflected light amount acquiring process with a predetermined threshold value to determine whether or not the drawing determination area is suitable for formation of a visible image.

The focus control section stops the focus control and generates the drive signal for the focus direction displacement section, according to a rotation angle, based on the error-time control signals stored in the memory section at a radial position where it is determined by the focus control error determination section that there is a focus control error.

The integrated circuit includes a tracking direction displacement section configured to execute, when the visible image is drawn, oscillation control to oscillate a position irradiated with the laser light in a radial direction of the optical disc, and a laser modulation section configured to change, when the visible image is drawn, an intensity of the laser light so that the higher a displacement rate of the position irradiated with the laser light in the radiation direction is, the higher the intensity of the laser light becomes.

A gain-increase computation section (209) obtains an amount of increase in a loop gain of a tracking control system based on a velocity of eccentricity of the optical disk (500) at the time of the track jump. After the track jump operation, the tracking control is performed in a situation where the loop gain of the tracking control system has been increased by the amount of increase obtained by the gain-increase computation section (209).

    摘要: A driving module for a laser diode has a submount substrate 1 for juxtaposing laser diodes 6, 6 and a driver IC 2. The driver IC 2 has an electric current switch circuit 3 for operating the laser diode 6, a output buffer circuit 4, and an input amplifying circuit 5. A power pattern 8 of a band shape is formed on the submount substrate 1 side by side with a line of the laser diodes 6. A connecting pad 14 for supplying an electric current to the electric current switch circuit 3 is arranged adjacent to a connecting portion with each laser diode 6. The operating electric current is supplied from this connecting pad 14 to the electric current switch circuit 3 by wire bonding.
