摘要:
A flow meter includes a flow path through which a fluid flows; a pair of transceivers for sending and receiving an ultrasonic wave propagating across the flow path; and a flow calculation section for calculating a flow rate of the fluid flowing through the flow path based on a result of the ultrasonic wave being sent and received by the pair of transceivers. The flow path has an equal flow speed area in which the fluid flows at a substantially equal flow speed over an entire flow rate area ranging from a high flow rate area to a low flow rate area. The pair of transceivers send and receive the ultrasonic wave so that the ultrasonic wave propagates in the equal flow speed area.

An ultrasonic fluid measurement instrument is capable of highly accurate fluid measurement. A measurement part is provided forming a plurality of split channels partitioned by partition boards halfway across a fluid channel, and at least a pair of ultrasonic transmitter-receivers for transmitting ultrasonic waves into the fluid flowing through the split channels and receiving ultrasonic waves that have passed through the fluid. Further, an arithmetic unit calculates the flow velocity and/or flow volume of the fluid according to the propagation time of the ultrasonic waves. The measurement part further includes an approach channel for preliminarily rectifying the fluid flowing to the split channels.

The present invention provides an ultrasonic fluid measurement instrument capable of highly accurate fluid measurement. Measurement part (1) is provided forming plural split channels (3) partitioned by partition boards (2) halfway across the fluid channel, and at least a pair of ultrasonic transmitter-receivers transmit ultrasonic waves into fluid flowing through split channels (3) and receive ultrasonic waves that have passed through the fluid. Then, an arithmetic unit calculates at least one of flow velocity and flow volume of the fluid according to the propagation time of the ultrasonic waves. Measurement part (1) is further provided with approach channels (5) and (6) for preliminarily rectifying fluid flowing to split channels (3).

A pointer remotely points a display screen of a large screen display device. The display screen is picked up by a monitor camera. An image processing unit extracts a feature of the pointer used for pointing based on the resulting image signal to identify the position of the pointing point and the pointer based on the feature. A computer generates information on an object to be displayed at a position pointed by the pointer. The generated information is displayed on a display device (CRT display device or large screen display device) assigned to the pointer. Even when a plurality of pointers are used, the information on the object to be displayed pointed by the pointer is properly displayed.

In regulating a burning gas quantity of a gas combustion apparatus, a gas flow controller is used. The gas flow controller is constructed such that a closing member within a cock is rotated by using a motor. The closing member has a plurality of holes formed in the axial direction of the member and a plurality of grooves each corresponding to the hole and formed in the circumferential direction of the member. The cock is used for changing, opening and closing a plurality of orifice passageways. The motor is driven in accordance with a signal from a position determining unit which discriminates the position of the cock. The gas flow controller can advantageously ensure a high precision of gas flow, a high reduction ratio, and a low power consumption.

A plurality of operation units are connected to one another. The operation units include a processor, a buffer memory, and a data transfer control circuit connected between the processor and the buffer memory for controlling the data input-output with the buffer memories in the other of the operation units. The buffer memories and the data transfer control circuit are connected with one another by data buses, respectively.

In accordance with one embodiment, a flow meter of the present invention includes: transmission/reception means provided in a flow path for performing transmission/reception using a state change of fluid; repetition means for repeating the transmission/reception; time measurement means for measuring a time of propagation repeated by the repetition means; flow rate detection means for detecting a flow rate based on a value of the time measurement means; and number-of-times change means for changing to a predetermined number of repetition times. With such a structure, an influence caused by a variation of a flow can be suppressed by changing the number of repetition times so as to be suitable for a variation. As a result, reliable flow rate measurement with a high accuracy can be achieved.
