摘要: A seatbelt locking device for seatbelt systems including an arm rotatably supported on a frame which rotatably supports a seatbelt retractor shaft. One end of the arm contacts an unretracted portion of the seatbelt and detects the tension on the unretracted portion of the seatbelt. The arm, seatbelt and frame are arranged and configured such that the seatbelt is clamped and securely locked between the end of the arm and the frame when the tension of the seatbelt exceeds some predetermined amount during a vehicular emergency.

摘要: A seatbelt system which automatically fastens and unfastens a passenger restraining belt about a passenger including a slider to which is fastened one end of the passenger restraining belt, a guide rail fastened along the body of the vehicle which guides the slider and which has one portion which is vertical, a drive system for moving the slider along the guide rail, a pawl for engagement with the slider when the slider is guided into the vertical portion of the guide rail and an acceleration detector for causing the pawl to engage with the slider during a vehicular emergency whereby movement of the slider is prevented and the belt is maintained in a fastened condition even during a vehicular roll over.

摘要: A locking device for seatbelt systems including a rotatable locking base with a wavy surface, a locking member provided adjacent the rotatable locking base and which is movable such that it engages with the locking base, a seatbelt portion which extends between the rotatable locking base and the locking member having an arm member with a wavy surface which senses the tension on such seatbelt portion and which engages with the locking member such that the locking member is caused to move when the arm member senses a tension on said seatbelt portion which is greater than a predetermined tension and such that the locking member presses the seatbelt portion against the rotatable base across its entire width when the locking member is caused to move by the arm member.

摘要: An electric remote-controlled rearview mirror assembly for a vehicle includes a mirror pivotally supported by a three point pivot connection of which the center pivot connection is stationary to permit angular movement of the mirror therearound. The remaining two pivot connections are spaced a predetermined angle from each other about the center pivot connection and are connected to rod members which are individually actuatable for longitudinal movement by at least one electric reversible motor to thereby positively angularly adjust the mirror around the center pivot connection. The drive of the motor is transmitted to the rod members through nut members. The rod members is made of an elastic material with providing threads whereas the nut members is made of a rigid material with providing teeth to be meshed with the threads of the rod members.

摘要: A retracting mechanism for storing or erecting a mirror includes, at a coupled portion of an output shaft of a drive motor and a worm gear, coupling retaining portions fitted together in a press-fitted state and rotational force transmitting portions opposing each other in a state where a predetermined gap is present between them. The coupling retaining portions are configured by a circular shaft portion and a circular fitting hole, and the rotational force transmitting portions are configured by a double D-cut portion and double D-protruding portions. The rotational force of the output shaft is transmitted by the rotational force transmitting portions, and the coupled state of the output shaft and the worm gear is retained on the same axial line and the slanting of the worm gear is prevented by the coupling retaining portions.

摘要: A mirror device for a vehicle which is equipped with a mirror surface angle adjusting mechanism. In a door mirror device for a vehicle, a load is applied to a rod drive in an axial direction, a claw member elastically deforms, and an engagement valley of the rod drive rides up over an engagement projection provided at a distal end of the claw member and is moved. Here, given that angles of inclination of two surfaces of the engagement valley, at a mirror side and at a side opposite the mirror, with respect to a direction orthogonal to an axis of the rod drive, are respectively &thgr;1 and &thgr;2, &thgr;1>&thgr;2. In this way, two loads for manually moving the rod drive toward a side opposite the mirror and toward the mirror side can be made to approach substantially a same magnitude.

摘要: In a door mirror assembly for a vehicle, a case is supported at a door mirror stay provided at a vehicle door and mounted to a door mirror visor, whereby the door mirror visor is disposed above the door mirror stay. An overlap portion provided at the case and an overlap portion provided at an opening of the door mirror visor are overlapped one above the other and mounted, and a gap between the opening of the door mirror visor and the lower part of the case is thus stopped. Therefore, generation of wind noises caused by wind entering through the gap between the opening of the door mirror visor and the lower part of the case while a vehicle is in motion can be prevented.
