    摘要: A method for creating a menu for audio content, e.g. music tracks, uses means for classifying the audio content into clusters of similar tracks, the similarity referring to physical, perceptual and psychological features of the tracks. The method comprises a means for automatic representative selection for clusters, and a means for generating thumbnail representations of audio tracks. Said audio thumbnails are associated to the menu. Advantageously, no graphical or textual display is required for navigation, since the user may listen to an audio thumbnail and then enter a command, e.g. by pressing an appropriate button, for either listening to the related track or a similar track belonging to the same cluster, or listening to another type of music by selecting another thumbnail representing another cluster.

The method includes a prior step of partitioning of the documents of the set into groups of documents whose audio parameters exhibit a similitude, making it possible to determine at least one document representing each group by taking into account its audio parameters.     摘要: The present invention relates to a method of selecting sound contents transmitted by transmission channels and received by an audio or audiovisual receiver. A user first selects a received content and starts playback. Then, the receiver automatically searches among the contents transmitted by the transmission channels for a content whose audio parameters have values close to the values of a previously selected content and plays it back at the end of the current content. The operation is renewed each time the current content ends.     摘要: The present invention relates to a method for navigating over documents represented by identifiers displayed on a navigation menu. Each document is associated with a plurality of numerical values characterizing it according to a plurality of criteria. Each identifier of a document is placed at a position dependent on a part of the parameter values associated with this document. The whole set of the documents is subdivided into a given number of regions. The sums of the values associated with all the documents of a region and corresponding to a certain number of criteria are virtually equal for each region. The outer contour of the regions is displayed so as to enable its selection. The selection of a region triggers the display in full screen mode of all of the identifiers of the selected region. The invention also relates to a display device capable of executing the navigation method.
