Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes: an image acquiring unit configured to acquire a first image group and a second image group in a first and a second direction different from each other, respectively, each image group including a pair of images sharing a common region in which a part of a subject is commonalized between one image and another image of the pair; and an optical axis center detection unit configured to detect a center of an optical axis of observation light forming the images based on a variation amount of a shading component in the first and second directions based on luminance of the common region of each of the first and second image groups.

Abstract: An image processing device includes one or more processors configured to: generate a high-resolution combined image by aligning the plurality of images with each other in a high-resolution image space based on an amount of displacement between the plurality of images, and combining the plurality of images; generate at least two low-resolution combined images by generating at least two groups each composed of at least two images by dividing the plurality of images in the time direction, aligning the at least two images in each of the groups with each other in a low-resolution image space based on the amount of displacement, and combining the at least two images through weighted addition; calculate, in each region, a feature quantity pertaining to a correlation between the generated at least two low-resolution combined images; and correct the high-resolution combined image based on the calculated feature quantity.

Abstract: An image processing device comprises: one or more processors comprising hardware, the one or more processors being configured to: generate a high-resolution combined image by aligning a plurality of time-series images with each other in a high-resolution image space having a resolution higher than the plurality of time-series images based on an amount of displacement between the plurality of time-series images, and combining the plurality of time-series images; generate a low-resolution combined image by aligning the plurality of time-series images with each other in a low-resolution image space having a resolution equal to or lower than the resolution of the plurality of time-series images based on the amount of displacement, combining the plurality of time-series images through weighted addition; calculate a feature quantity pertaining to a pixel-value change direction at each region in the generated low-resolution combined image; and correct the high-resolution combined image based on the calculated feature quantity.

Abstract: An image processing device includes: an image acquiring unit that acquires first and second image groups, each image sharing a common part of a subject with the other image in different first and second directions; a calculating unit that calculates, as a shading component, a ratio of luminance of an area in one or more images, the area sharing a common subject with another area including a flat area whose shading component is constant in a single image other than the one or more images, to luminance of the another area, for each of the first and second image groups; and a correcting unit that performs a shading correction on shading areas in the images using the shading component. The shading component includes a normalized shading component based on luminance of the flat area, and a non-normalized shading component based on luminance of an area other than the flat area.
