    Abstract: An electromagnetic relay includes a fixed terminal, a movable contact piece, a housing, and a heat dissipation structure. The fixed terminal includes a first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface, and a fixed contact disposed on the first surface. The movable contact piece includes a movable contact that is configured to contact the fixed contact. The housing includes an accommodation space accommodating a portion of the fixed terminal, the fixed contact, and the movable contact piece. The heat dissipation structure includes a heat dissipation space that is provided on the second surface of the fixed terminal for dissipating the heat of the fixed terminal to an outside of the accommodation space.

    Abstract: A relay, including a first fixed contact, a second fixed contact, a movable contact piece having first and second movable contacts, a contact piece holding unit configured to hold the movable contact piece, a magnet for arc extinguishing, and a debris suction unit configured to exert a magnetic force to suck debris, is disclosed. A first contact position between the first fixed contact and the first movable contact is located between the magnet for arc extinguishing and the contact piece holding unit in a longitudinal direction of the movable contact piece. The debris suction unit is disposed so that the first contact position does not overlap a region between the debris suction unit and the contact piece holding unit. A magnet force exerted by the debris suction unit in the contact piece holding unit is larger than a magnetic force exerted by the magnet in the contact piece holding unit.

The movable contact piece includes a second surface disposed to face the first surface. The first contact is embedded in one of the fixed terminal or the movable contact piece to be flush with one of the first surface or the second surface.     Abstract: A first yoke is arranged in a contact direction with respect to a movable contact piece. A second yoke is arranged in an opening direction with respect to the movable contact piece. The first yoke and the second yoke are configured to generate a magnetic force that attracts the first yoke and the second yoke to each other when the movable contact contacts the fixed contact and is energized. The first yoke and the second yoke are arranged not to contact each other so that the movable contact piece can contact the fixed terminal in a state where the movable contact and the fixed contact are lost.

    Abstract: A relay includes a first fixed contact, a second fixed contact, a movable contact piece having first and second movable contacts, a contact piece holding unit configured to hold the movable contact piece, and first to fourth magnets. The first magnet and the second magnet are disposed so that same poles thereof face each other. The movable contact piece is disposed between the first magnet and the second magnet in a width direction of the movable contact piece.     Abstract: An electromagnetic relay includes a base, an electromagnet block having a spool with a through hole opening at a flange portion thereof and mounted on an upper surface of the base, a movable iron piece, a movable contact piece rotatable integrally with the movable iron piece, a movable contact fixed to a free end of the movable contact piece, and a fixed contact fixed to a fixed contact terminal and contactable with and separable from the movable contact along with rotation of the movable contact piece. Insulating ribs project from an inward facing surface of a spacer integrally formed with the movable iron piece and an outward facing surface of the flange portion respectively such that the insulating ribs intercept a straight line connecting a magnetic pole portion projecting through the through hole and the fixed contact or the fixed contact terminal with a shortest distance.

    Abstract: An electromagnetic relay includes a fixed contact, a movable contact piece having a movable contact, a drive shaft, an electromagnetic drive device, and a positioning portion. The movable contact piece is movable in a first direction contacting the fixed contact and in a second direction separating from the fixed contact. The electromagnetic drive device includes a movable iron core integrally movably connected to the drive shaft. The electromagnetic drive device switches between a contact state in which the movable contact comes into contact with the fixed contact and a separate state in which the movable contact is separated from the fixed contact by moving the drive shaft with the movable iron core. The positioning portion positions the drive shaft or the movable iron core in the separate state. The drive shaft or the movable iron core includes a first inclined portion that contacts the positioning portion in the separate state.

    Abstract: A relay includes a fixed contact, a movable contact piece including a movable contact, a movable portion, a coil, a return spring, and a contact spring. The movable portion includes a drive shaft and a movable iron core. The drive shaft is fixed to the movable contact piece in a contact case and extends from an inside of the contact case to an outside of the contact case. The movable iron core is connected to the drive shaft outside the contact case. The return spring urges the movable portion in an open direction in which the movable contact is separated from the fixed contact. The contact spring urges the drive shaft in a contact direction in which the movable contact contacts the fixed contact. The contact spring is arranged outside the contact case.
