Abstract: An electromagnetic relay includes a fixed terminal, a movable contact piece, and a support portion supporting the fixed terminal. The fixed terminal includes a fixed contact, a first terminal portion on which the fixed contact is disposed, a second terminal portion extending from one of both ends of the first terminal portion, a first protrusion disposed on the second terminal portion. The fixed terminal is bent between the first and second terminal portions. The first terminal portion has a first terminal surface opposite to the movable contact piece. The second terminal portion has a second terminal surface connected to the first terminal surface. The support portion has a contact surface contacting the first terminal surface of the first terminal portion, and a first side surface including a first groove where the first protrusion is fitted. The first protrusion is disposed on the second terminal surface of the second terminal portion.

Abstract: An electromagnetic relay includes a contact device, a movable member, a driving device, a return spring, and an insulating member. The contact device includes a first fixed terminal, a second fixed terminal, and a movable contact piece. The movable member presses the movable contact piece. The driving device is disposed on one side of a first direction with respect to the contact device and the movable member and moves the movable contact piece via the movable member to one side of a second direction intersecting the first direction. The return spring is disposed between the movable member and the driving device in the first direction for urging the movable member toward another side of the second direction. The insulating member separates the contact device from the driving device and has an opening where the return spring is inserted. The opening is open toward one side of the first direction.

Abstract: An electromagnetic relay includes a base, a first fixed terminal including a first fixed contact, a second fixed terminal including a second fixed contact, a movable contact piece, a movable member, and a return spring. The movable contact piece includes a pair of movable contacts configured to contact the first fixed contact and the second fixed contact. The movable member is movable with the movable contact piece in a contact direction and in a separation direction. The return spring is disposed between the base and the movable member and urges the movable member in the separation direction. The base includes a guide portion to guide movement of the movable member. The movable member includes a sliding portion slidable with respect to the guide portion. The return spring is disposed inside the guide portion. The guide portion is disposed in the contact direction with respect to the first fixed contact.

Abstract: An electromagnetic relay includes a case including a base, a first fixed terminal held by the base, a movable contact piece, a gas inflow space, and a gas passage. The first fixed terminal includes a first fixed contact disposed apart from the base in a first direction inside the case, a contact support portion disposed between the first fixed contact and the base and configured to support the first fixed contact, and a first extending portion extending at an angle from the contact support portion and penetrating the base in the first direction. The movable contact piece includes a first movable contact facing the first fixed contact in the first direction. The gas inflow space is formed between the base and the contact support portion inside the case. The gas passage penetrates the base in the first direction and communicates the gas inflow space with an outside of the case.

The first overlapping portion overlaps with the support member when viewed from a longitudinal direction of the movable contact piece in an open state where the first movable contact is separated from the first fixed contact.
