摘要: A solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) includes a plurality of subassemblies. Each subassembly includes at least one subcell of a first electrode, a second electrode and an electrolyte between the first and second electrodes. A first bonding layer is at the second electrode and an interconnect layer is at the first bonding layer distal to the electrolyte. A second bonding layer that is compositionally distinct from the first bonding layer is at the interconnect layer, whereby the interconnect partitions the first and second bonding layers. A method of fabricating a fuel cell assembly includes co-firing at least two subassemblies using a third bonding layer that is microstructurally or compositionally distinct from the second bonding layer.

摘要: A solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) includes a plurality of subassemblies. 摘要: A drill bit is provided with a cylindrical body portion fabricated from a plastic material. The body portion is fastened in concentric, end to end relation to a cylindrical cutter fabricated from a metallic material and having an array of cutting elements disposed thereon. The body portion and cutter are preferably tubular, wherein the cutting elements are disposed in an annular array, to facilitate core or crown drilling operations. The wall thickness of the tubular body portion may be increased relative that of the cutter to compensate for wear during drilling.

The composition and mixtures or blends comprising the composition may be used for the treatment of PMS and prostate conditions.

摘要: A method of flow cytometry analyzes a stream of sample material having more than one fluorescing species. The method comprises the steps pf providing a plurality of intensity-modulated excitation light beams each being modulated at a respective unique frequency; directing the intensity-modulated excitation light beams to interact with the sample material; detecting fluorescence emission light from the sample material to provide signal information representative of detected light intensity versus time; and extracting a plurality of component emission signals from the signal information, wherein each component emission signal corresponds to a respective one of the modulated excitation light beams. Apparatus for implementing the method include flow cytometers and bulk sample analytical optical systems. The invention is helpful in determining species concentrations in cases where the fluorescing species have overlapping or substantially the same emission spectra.

摘要: A drill bit is provided with a cylindrical body portion fabricated from a plastic material. The body portion is fastened in concentric, end to end relation to a cylindrical cutter fabricated from a metallic material and having an array of cutting elements disposed thereon. The body portion and cutter are preferably tubular, wherein the cutting elements are disposed in an annular array, to facilitate core or crown drilling operations. The wall thickness of the tubular body portion may be increased relative that of the cutter to compensate for wear during drilling. The tubular body portions also may fabricated from a composite polymer including wear resistant particles, whiskers, fibers and the like disposed on inner and outer surfaces of the polymer body, or dispersed throughout the body.
