    摘要: A tool for chip removing machining, including a basic body and two replaceable cutting inserts. Each insert includes a chip-removing main edge situated between a chip surface and a clearance surface, a first insert of which precedes a second insert during machining of a workpiece. The cutting inserts overlap each other in a zone defined by a borderline along which a surface generated by the main edge of the first cutting insert, with a time delay, is intersected by the main edge of the subsequent, second cutting insert. The main edge of the second cutting insert that afterwards intersects the already generated surface, is formed along a chip surface including primary and secondary sections, which have different shapes in cross-sections spaced-apart along the main edge in order to form a primary part edge and a secondary, reinforced part edge arranged to intersect the already generated surface.

    摘要: A clamping jaw for a tool holder chuck, wherein the clamping chuck has two clamping jaws arranged spaced apart and diametrically opposite one another relative to an axis of rotation of the clamping chuck and moveable toward and away from one another for clamping a tool shaft by moving the clamping chuck with a radial component, has a longitudinal slot having a slot mouth open toward the axis of rotation and a slot bottom. The longitudinal slot receives positive-lockingly the tool shaft and has slot flanks defining an approach angle at the slot mouth and a slot bottom angle at the slot bottom. The approach angle is greater than the slot bottom angle. The clamping jaw is manufactured with a disc milling cutter with opposed milling cutter flanks located radially outwardly and positioned slantedly relative to one another at different flank angles. The flank angles increase toward a center of the cutter body.

    摘要: A cutter-tooling assembly has a tool holder and a cutter. The tool holder has an inserted section and a through hole axially formed through the inserted section. The through hole has a fixing segment. The fixing segment has an inner surface and multiple recesses formed around the inner surface of the fixing segment at intervals. The cutter is inserted into the through hole of the tool holder and has a fixing end. The fixing end has an outer surface and multiple corners formed on the outer surface of the fixing end and abutting the recesses. Because the fixing segment has the multiple recesses which the corners of the cutter abut, the combination of the recesses and the corners can prevent a relative rotation between the tool holder and the cutter and make the cutter securely connected with the tool holder.
