    摘要: Apparatus, systems, and methods operate to partition a product feature set into a set of included features and a set of feature upselling candidates determined by a corresponding set of decision variables. The decision variables can be determined, in turn, by maximizing a profit function comprising a sum of first mathematical products (each product including profit, probability of sale, and a decision variable) over the product feature set, subject to the condition that a sum of second mathematical products (each product including feature utility and a decision variable) over the product feature set is less than or equal to the utility of the product feature set combined with a base product, minus the utility of a competing product. Operations may include designating an initial sales product configuration as a combination of a base product and the set of included features. Additional apparatus, systems, and methods are disclosed.

    摘要: Embodiments of the present invention include systems and methods for a computer-implemented, in-vehicle application platform (VAP) for conducting vehicle-to-business (V2B) communication. A V2B vehicle application layer resides within the vehicle. The VAP comprises a communication layer facilitating reliable message exchange between this vehicle application layer and V2B business applications. The VAP further comprises a HW abstraction layer encapsulating vehicle-specific interfaces both with regard to the CAN bus and the in-vehicle HMI. According to certain embodiments, these layers of the VAP provide their functionality via open, non-proprietary, and well-defined interfaces, allowing for efficient development of V2B applications and enhancing portability of the latter.

A first message may be received at an enterprise service proxy device from a smart device via a first protocol associated with the smart device. It may be determined that the first message includes a smart device request for processing via an enterprise service located at a backend device. An enterprise service request and an associated enterprise request protocol may be determined based on the smart device request and a service adaptation description associated with the enterprise service and the first protocol. The enterprise service request may be sent to the backend device via the associated enterprise request protocol.
