    摘要: An airbag arrangement for a vehicle occupant restraint system is provided. The airbag arrangement comprising an airbag folded into an airbag package, a cover that may be evacuated and encloses the airbag package, a gas generator for inflating the airbag, a receptacle formed by a section of the cover enclosing the airbag package and in which at least one section of the gas generator is housed. The airbag comprising an opening, which forms an inlet to an inflatable area of the airbag and in which the receptacle is arranged at least sectionally or into which the receptacle projects. The gas generator is formed as a tubular gas generator. The opening has a hollow cylindrical area in which the receptacle is arranged, or the opening is formed as a hole in an airbag layer which forms a chamber of the airbag.

    摘要: A fixing element fixes a part to a support wall. When the fixing element is inserted into an opening in the support wall and reaches a predetermined end position, the fixing element locks to the support wall. The fixing element includes a stop element, a snap-on element, and an unlocking element. The stop element bears against a side of the support wall when the fixing element is locked to the support wall. The snap-on element is positioned on an inner side of the support wall when the fixing element is locked to the support wall. The unlocking element is connected to the snap-on element. The unlocking element is configured to permit the snap-on element to be unlocked and the fixing element to be removed from the opening. An installation tool and a testing tool may be used in conjunction with the fixing element.

When the fixing element is inserted into an opening in the support wall and reaches a predetermined end position, the fixing element locks to the support wall. The generator assembly comprising a gas generator for inflating an airbag of an airbag module with gas, wherein the gas generator defines with its generator housing a lateral surface that extends between a first and a second frontal cover surface of the gas generator, and means for electrically insulating the gas generator with respect to adjacent parts. For electrical insulation of the gas generator a flexible material layer is provided that completely covers the lateral surface of the gas generator. A systematic, defined grounding of the gas generator via a grounding conductor is carried out which is connected to an electrical connection of the gas generator that is integrated into a connector area of the gas generator.

The invention consists in that the housing (13) lies in contact with the outer periphery of the gas generator (11) only at one side and has at least one gas inlet opening (15) lying opposite to a gas outlet opening (12); and in that at least one gas inlet opening (15), which lies diametrically opposite to a gas outlet opening (12), is closed by a closure means (16), in particular a plug, in a gas and pressure tight manner.
