    摘要: To provide an adequate biasing load to an endless transmission belt by biasing forces of a plurality of springs with different biasing forces and oil pressure biasing force to permit an easy adjustment. In a structure which includes an almost cylindrical plunger, a tensioner body into which the plunger is fitted, high pressure oil chambers are formed by the tensioner body and the plunger and supplied with oil pressure. Two tensioner springs, a rigid spring and a soft spring are supported by the tensioner body and are arranged in series for biasing the plunger. The plunger in its fully stretched state is supported by the serially arranged rigid and soft tensioner springs. In a condition when the plunger is pushed back from this fully stretched state by a prescribed amount or further, the plunger is supported by the rigid tensioner spring.

    摘要: A tensioner for an endless transmission belt includes a plunger body. A plunger is movably provided in a hole of the plunger body to press the belt. A chamber is provided between the plunger and the plunger body to store hydraulic oil. An oil supply passage is provided in the plunger body to supply the oil from an oil pump to the chamber. A check valve is provided between the chamber and the passage and configured to allow the oil to be supplied from the pump to the chamber while the check valve is configured to be closed when a pressure in the chamber is higher than a pressure of the oil supplied by the pump. A relief valve is provided between the chamber and the passage and configured to discharge the oil in the chamber to the passage when the pressure in the chamber exceeds a first predetermined value.

    摘要: A gear shift device is provided which changes speed by transmitting rotation of a shift spindle by gear shift operation input to rotation of a shift drum through an intermittent feed mechanism and a lost motion mechanism. An upstream rotation holding mechanism is provided to hold in a required rotational position an upstream rotating member of the lost motion mechanism which is rotated by gear shift operation input through the intermittent feed mechanism. When a required level of gear shift operation is done, the gear shift device changes speed adequately, without continuing gear shift operation, and thus improves operability.

A pressure chamber provided between the plunger and the plunger body is configured to store hydraulic oil supplied from an oil pump. A check valve is provided in the plunger body, configured to be opened to supply the hydraulic oil to the pressure chamber when a pressure in the pressure chamber is lower than an oil pressure from the oil pump, and configured to be closed when the pressure is higher than the oil pressure. A relief valve is provided in the plunger body within a width of the plunger in a direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the plunger and configured to discharge the hydraulic oil in the pressure chamber when the pressure exceeds a predetermined value.

    摘要: An air bleeding valve includes an annular valve element for removing air from oil contained in a hydraulic circuit of a hydraulic tensioner and for suppressing the removal of the oil. An air bleeding valve body is fitted in an air bleeding valve accommodating hole formed in the hydraulic tensioner. A circumferential groove having a rectangular cross section is formed on an outer circumferential surface of the air bleeding valve body. The annular valve element having a rectangular cross section is fitted in the circumferential groove so as to be movable in an axial direction parallel to the axis of the annular valve element, and displaceable in a radial direction toward and away from the axis of the annular valve element. Such air bleeding valve removes air in a hydraulic circuit while suppressing the removal of oil in the hydraulic circuit during starting operation of an engine.
