The sealing element has been arranged on a support so that the location of the sealing element with respect to the fabric (4b) can be adjusted nearer to or, correspondingly, further from the fabric. As a sealing element there is at least a single-chambered labyrinth sealing (19).

摘要： A method and an apparatus for separating solid or drop-like particles from an air flow is provided. The air flows through a separator chamber between an electrode, ion generating means or like particle charging device disposed in the separator chamber, and a grounded collector surface, so that the particles are charged by the charging device and accumulate on the collector surface. The air flows along a substantially spiral path around the charging device in at least a part of the separator chamber so that due to the action of centrifugal force at least a portion of the particles pass toward the grounded collector surface at the periphery of the chamber. A small flow of purified air flows downwardly in a central part of the separator chamber so that it washes the charging device in the separator chamber.

The supply air system comprises a supply air unit (12), to which means are connected for supplying the supply air from the outside air to the internal space, and an air treatment unit (14) in which means (58, 64) are arranged for treating the air supplied into the internal space. The units are interconnected by at least one duct (16, 16′), equipped with a blower. The supply air system further comprises an air distribution plate or the like for distributing the treated air into the machine room. The above-mentioned units are mounted on top of each other, so that the supply air unit (12) is arranged above the air treatment unit, so that an air chamber (20) for the treated air is formed between said units. At least a part of the air chamber borders to said air distribution plate (18, 18′). A vortex flow is produced before the dust separating blowing in the running direction of the web to prevent carriage of the dust into the environment and to compensate for the suction effect on the runnability of the web. In the device, blow elements produce a blowing that separates dust from the web and suction elements produce a suction effect so as to remove the dust that is separated out of connection with the web. The device includes an arrangement for producing a vortex flow before the dust separation blowing in the running direction of the web to prevent carriage of the dust into the environment and to compensate for the suction effect.
