A brake block is connected to the mounting frame and is operably coupled to a safety brake. An inner block assembly is disposed between the mounting frame and the brake block. Upon detection of a predetermined condition, the brake block is configured to engage and adjacent guide member to actuate the safety brake.

    摘要: A braking system resetting mechanism for a hoisted structure includes a guide rail (14) and a brake member (10). Also included is a brake member actuation mechanism (12) operatively coupled to the brake member and configured to magnetically engage the guide rail to actuate the brake member from a non-braking position to a braking position. Further included is an outer structure having a slot (64) configured to guide the brake member actuation mechanism, wherein the slot includes a first angled region and a second angled region that intersect at an outer location. Also included is a spring loaded lever (202) operatively coupled to the outer structure and configured to engage the brake member actuation mechanism during a resetting operation, wherein the spring loaded lever biases the brake member actuation mechanism toward the outer location of the slot of the outer structure to disengage the brake member actuation mechanism from the guide rail.

    摘要: A vertical bounce detection system of an elevator system includes at least one sensor operable to detect vertical movement of an elevator car in a hoistway. The vertical bounce detection system also includes a processing system communicatively coupled to the at least one sensor and a memory system having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by the processing system, cause the vertical bounce detection system to determine a bounce energy level of the elevator car based on sensor data from the at least one sensor. The instructions further cause the vertical bounce detection system to compare the bounce energy level to a bounce condition threshold. A speed reduction of the elevator car is commanded to continue movement of the elevator car at a reduced speed based on determining that the bounce energy level exceeds the bounce condition threshold.

    摘要: An elevator system includes a hoistway and an elevator car positioned in the hoistway and configured to travel along the hoistway. The elevator car includes an elevator car door. A door operator assembly is fixed in the hoistway at a landing floor and includes a sensor to sense presence of the elevator car at the landing floor; and a door operator mechanism to open both the elevator car door and a landing floor door when the sensor senses presence of the elevator car at the landing floor. A light source may be fixed at the hoistway and a light transmitter is positioned at the elevator car to gather light from the light source and output the light into an interior of the elevator car. A ventilation system may be fixed at the hoistway and is interactive with the elevator car to condition an interior of the elevator car.
