摘要: A shisha device (100) includes a device air inlet (16); a device outlet (18); an aerosol chamber (130) and a vessel (17). The aerosol chamber has a chamber inlet (131) and a chamber outlet (18) and is configured to house a consumable comprising an aerosol-generating substrate (20). The vessel has a vessel inlet (16) and a vessel outlet (15) and defines an interior configured to contain liquid (19) when the device is in use. The device is configured such that, in use, airflow through the aerosol chamber that exits the chamber outlet exits the device outlet without flowing through the liquid stored in the vessel. Thus, water soluble constituents in the aerosol may be delivered to a user of the shisha device rather than being dissolved and trapped in the liquid in the vessel.

The heating element is configured to heat the tobacco substrate to an extent sufficient to generate the aerosol without combusting the aerosol-generating substrate.

摘要: A shisha device article includes a vessel and an aerosol-generating element. The vessel defines an interior configured to contain a volume of liquid. The vessel also includes a head space outlet. The aerosol-generating element is in fluid connection with the vessel. The aerosol-generating element includes (i) a cartridge receptacle for receiving a cartridge containing an aerosol-generating substrate; (ii) a heating element defining at least two surfaces of the cartridge receptacle; and (iii) an aerosol outlet in fluid connection with the cartridge receptacle and a fresh air inlet channel in fluid connection with the cartridge receptacle. The fresh air inlet channel is arranged to preheat air prior to the air entering the cartridge receptacle.

摘要: The present invention relates to an aerosol-generating device (100) for use with a plurality of aerosol-forming substrates. The device comprises a receiving sleeve (102) which in turn comprises an inner receiving zone (110) within the receiving sleeve for receiving at least a first aerosol-forming substrate, and an outer receiving zone (120) extending across at least a portion of an outer circumferential periphery of the receiving sleeve for receiving at least a second aerosol-forming substrate. The device further comprises an electrical heater for heating at least the first aerosol-forming substrate or the second aerosol-forming substrate when being received in the first or second receiving zone, respectively. The invention further relates to an aerosol-generating article (200), in particular for use with such a device. The article comprises an inner substrate core (210) and an outer substrate sleeve (220) surrounding the inner substrate core at a distance such as to form a circumferential slot (202) between the inner core and the outer sleeve. The slot is open-ended at a distal end of the article. The substrate core contains or is adapted for containing a first aerosol-forming substrate (211). Likewise, the substrate sleeve contains or is adapted for containing a second aerosol-forming substrate (221). The invention further relates to an aerosol-generating system comprising such an article and such a device.
