Abstract:
THE MOLECULAR WEIGHT AND MOLECULAR WEIGHT DISTRIBUION OF HOMOPOLYMERS AND COPOLYMERS OF CONJUGATED DIENES AND/OR MONOVINYL-SUBSTITUTED AROMATIC HYDROCARBONS IS INCREDED AND THE COLD FLOW OF RUBBERY POLYMERS OF SAID MONOMERS IS DECREASED BY EMPLOYMENT OF SULFITE ESTER TREATING AGENTS.
Abstract:
Diene-lactam block polymers are produced from a metal salt of a lactam, a halogen-substituted isocyanate, a lithium-containing polymer and a lactam.
Abstract:
In the preparation of conjugated diene polymers with multilithium initiators followed by termination with polyfunctional reagents, broader molecular weight distribution is obtained by modifying the polymerization reaction with a magnesium, calcium, strontium, or barium halide or hydrocarbylmetal halide.
