摘要： A liquid dispenser for dispensing a liquid from the rim of a toilet bowl such that a controlled, consistent amount of liquid is dispensed into each flush. The liquid dispenser includes a bottle for holding the liquid, a base for holding the bottle and for providing a liquid feed conduit between the bottle and a dispensing plate, and a hook for suspending the base from the rim of the toilet bowl. The dispensing plate is integral with or attached to the base, downwardly inclined at an angle of from about 10 to about 30 degrees from the horizontal, and serves to distribute liquid from the feed conduit to a dispensing position on the upper surface of the dispensing plate where the liquid is contacted by flushing water from the toilet bowl. The dispensing plate has various configurations that assist in the distribution of the liquid to the dispensing position on the upper surface of the dispensing plate. In a preferred version of the liquid dispenser, the dispensing plate has capillary channels in its upper surface for distributing the liquid, which has a viscosity of from about 2000 to about 4000 centipoise from the feed conduit to the dispensing position, and a plurality of engagement means by which the bottle is held in position, as well a barrier means and openings to control flow of liquid on the surface of the dispensing plate.

摘要： A device for dispensing liquid toilet bowl treatment preparations from under the rim of a toilet bowl by way of the flow of water during a toilet flush is disclosed. The device comprises a bottle that holds a liquid and a base that is suspended from the toilet rim and holds the bottle. The base has a piercing post for opening a closure of the bottle. A wicking device that is supported by the base conveys the liquid from the bottle to a dispensing position within the flow of flush water. An extension plate is removably secured to the base or wicking device. The extension plate is dimensioned such that the extension plate is positioned within the flow of water during a toilet flush and such that at least a portion of the flow of water is directed onto the dispensing position of the wicking device during a toilet flush.

摘要： A multi-sensory product able to disperse chemical actives using reeds or other wicks, as well as providing a light show is disclosed. The product includes a form-within-a-form design wherein the inner form or vase is able to store the chemical actives, as well as mount the reeds or other wicks. The outer vase complements the aesthetics of the inner vase while at the same time concealing the electronics of the device. The electronics of the device can include a power source, as well as a circuit board for driving LEDs mounted thereon. The LEDs can generate a light show which can be refracted and diffused through the glass or polymer material forming the inner and outer vases thereby creating an aesthetically pleasing and multi-sensory experience through the use of the product.

摘要： A cleaning implement that provides multiple functions useful in cleaning windows and similar surfaces is disclosed. There is a support head mounting a squeegee blade and (optionally) a scrubber and/or touch-up pad. There is also a collector absorbent pad that is mounted to the support head adjacent the squeegee blade, a sprayer linked to the support head, and a container connectable to the sprayer. The implement can spray cleaning fluid on a window to be cleaned. The scrubber can then be applied, followed by the squeegee. Liquid being removed from the window using the squeegee is then collected in the absorbent pad, which is replaceable when saturated. Any remaining streaks on the surface being cleaned can then be removed by the touch-up pad. Replacement pads and replacement containers are also disclosed.

摘要： Disclosed are liquid dispensing devices suitable for use to dispense liquid from a container. They have a conventional sprayer associated with a flexible down tube. The down tube has an essentially rigid upper section linked to the sprayer, an essentially rigid lower section suitable to extend into the container, and an intermediate flexible section. An essentially rigid member (e.g. a sleeve) is mounted on/to the down tube so as to move between a first position in which it covers the flexible section so as to restrict pivoting of the lower section relative to the upper section, to a second position in which it permits the lower section to pivot relative to the upper section. As the down tube is being inserted in the container a flange on the sleeve is held by the container lip so that the sleeve is caused to move between the two positions. The down tube structure is thus rigid during assembly of the tube with the container, but automatically becomes flexible thereafter. Methods of assembly are also disclosed using these structures.

摘要： A spray bottle having a pump, flexible tubing, a housing and a retainer for clamping the tubing to the housing. The pump pumps fluid to be sprayed from inside the spray bottle. The flexible tubing is attached to the pump, extends into the spray bottle, and communicates fluid from inside the spray bottle to the pump. The housing is attached to a distal end of the flexible tubing and includes a head, a weight and a nozzle. The head projects into an opening in the distal end of the tubing. The weight is secured in the housing. The nozzle extends from an end of the housing opposing the end of the housing attached to the head. An opening in the nozzle and an opening in the head are in flow communication. The retainer encircles a portion of a periphery of the tubing and clamps the tubing against the head.

摘要： The present closure is one that is actuated and opened indirectly. A force on a push pad causes the lid to open. There is no direct manual force applied to the lid to open the lid. The closure is comprised of a base section and a lid section. These are separate molded sections. These separate molded sections are attached after molding. The base section has the attachment to a container, structural integrity, a spout, and a lid actuator mechanism. The lid actuator mechanism is comprised of a strap with a push pad with an actuator rod at the end adjacent an actuator wall. The lid section has a spout closing section for the spout of the base section and an attachment fitting for attachment to the base section. The spout closing section is attached to the attachment fitting by living hinges, and preferably, preloaded living hinges. Such living hinges reduce the force to actuate. The closure is opened by pushing on a push pad which in turn causes the living hinges to be actuated and the lid snap opened. The lid is manually closed.
