Abstract:
Disclosed is a dual press spray head including: a head portion coupled to a top of a can having an internal space in which contents are accommodated; a discharge portion communicating with an inside of the head portion and discharging the contents to an outside; a gun-type portion mounted to the head portion and coupled to the discharge portion to operate the discharge portion; and a press-type portion mounted to the head portion and pressing the head portion in a downward direction of the can, wherein one side of the press-type portion comes into contact with the gun-type portion so that the head portion and the gun-type portion are pressurized simultaneously in the downward direction of the can to operate the discharge portion.
Abstract:
An actuator is provided. The actuator includes a nozzle; a valve; a conduit in fluid communication with the valve at one end portion and in fluid communication with the nozzle at an opposite end portion; and a trigger operatively connected with the valve, wherein the trigger includes a first zone and a second zone, wherein the first and second zones are independently movable about a common axis.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relate to an actuator assembly for an aerosol can. The assembly includes a body attachable to a can and a disc provided with two opposing levers. The disc is hinged to the body and generally overlies a valve provided on the aerosol can. When either lever is depressed, a valve socket on the bottom of the disc engages the valve of the aerosol can to discharge pressurized liquid through a port formed through the disc. One of the levers is provided with a catching member that engages and selectively locks onto a latch provided on the body so that the lever is captured in a depressed position to cause the continuous discharge of liquid from the can. The captured lever can be released to discontinue discharge of liquid by pressing the other lever.
Abstract:
A product dispenser includes a housing adapted to receive a refill unit having a product reservoir. A multidirectional pushbar is carried by the housing and movable in a plurality of directions to actuate the pump. The multidirectional pushbar may be carried by a collar pivotally secured around a pushbar support member in the shape of a spherical zone. Pivoting movement of the multidirectional pushbar is converted into an actuating force by a transfer mechanism, which may include a vertically movable carriage. In other embodiments, the multidirectional pushbar may include ramped surfaces and may support a carriage having rolling elements. Lateral movement of the multidirectional pushbar causes the carriage to roll up the ramped surfaces and actuate a pump to dispense a product.
Abstract:
An aerosol actuator having a button actuator on a top surface thereof and a lever actuator extending away from the button actuator may be assembled with an aerosol container and valve to provide ergonomic application of a product utilizing the aerosol actuator.
Abstract:
An apparatus for delivering liquid includes a wand with a nozzle, a toggle switch, and a supply canister for delivering self-tanning and sun-tanning solutions to a human body. The wand may pivotably attach to a cap attached to the supply canister containing the chosen liquid to be delivered without the necessity of an exposed external tube suspended between the wand and the supply canister.
Abstract:
Aerosol actuation mechanisms include improvements allowing a user to extend the reach of an aerosol application device, apply an aerosol in a windy environment, improve coverage of the aerosol product, or facilitate improved ability to ensure coverage for an aerosol product.
Abstract:
A dispensing system includes a shroud having a gripping portion. An actuation area of the shroud is between about 15% to about 95% of a surface area of the gripping portion.
Abstract:
A apparatus for delivering a predetermined quantity of content from a pressurized container includes a dispensing assembly which sits on the container and connects with an upper portion of a valve stem of the valve assembly, wherein the dispensing assembly includes a) an actuator cap having a discharge passage, which is open or obstructed and wherein the actuator cap acts as a metering chamber in combination with b) an adaptor which fits inside the cap and also snuggly engages the valve stem. The cap fits snuggly over the adjuster to define a metering chamber which depending on its position can close off the metered chamber or open it to the dispensing conduit\nozzle. When the cap is depressed it pushes down on the adjuster which depresses the valve. The chamber fills, but nothing is released until the upstroke.
