    Abstract: A disclosed micro gas turbine system includes a micro gas turbine apparatus and an extracting cycle apparatus. The micro gas turbine apparatus includes a first compressor, a burner, and a first turbine. The first turbine expands a combustion gas generated by the burner. The extracting cycle apparatus includes a second compressor and a second turbine. The second compressor receives a flow of extracted air that is generated by extracting a part of a working fluid discharged from the first compressor. The second turbine expands the working fluid discharged from the second compressor. The working fluid discharged from the second turbine cools down the first turbine.

    Abstract: A power generation control system includes a converter and a controller. The converter controls a generator of a Rankine cycle system, the Rankine cycle system including an expander, the generator, which is interconnected to the expander, a pump which feeds a working fluid, and an evaporator which evaporates a working fluid. The controller causes the converter to execute, in at least one of a startup operation and a shutdown operation of the Rankine cycle system, first control in at least one of a startup operation and a shutdown operation of the Rankine cycle system such that the expander is prevented from expanding a working fluid if the working fluid at an outlet of the evaporator contains a liquid component while the pump is operating.

    Abstract: A liquid pump of the present disclosure includes a container, a shaft, a bearing, a pump mechanism, a storage space, and a liquid supply passage. The shaft is disposed in the container. The bearing supports the shaft. The pump mechanism pumps a liquid by rotation of the shaft. The storage space is defined in the container at a position outside the pump mechanism. The storage space stores the liquid to be taken into the pump mechanism or the liquid to be discharged to outside of the container after being expelled from the pump mechanism. The liquid supply passage is a flow path including an inlet open to the storage space and supplying the liquid stored in the storage space to the bearing.

    Abstract: A turbine nozzle according to the disclosure is a turbine nozzle that is used in a radial turbine and includes a ring-shaped hub, a plurality of nozzle vanes that are arranged at equal angular intervals on the hub, and a flow path that is formed between the nozzle vanes. The flow path includes a throat that has a smallest flow path cross-sectional area with respect to a flow direction of working fluid. On a downstream side of the throat with respect to the flow direction, the flow path cross-sectional area increases. Heights of the nozzle vanes on the downstream side of the throat with respect to the flow direction are greater than heights of the nozzle vanes in the throat and gradually increase from an upstream side toward the downstream side with respect to the flow direction.
