Abstract: A method for manufacturing an electrochemical device includes the following steps: a step of preparing a positive electrode, the positive electrode including a first current collector and a positive electrode layer containing a conductive polymer; a step of preparing a negative electrode, the negative electrode including a second current collector and a negative electrode layer; and a step of sealing the positive electrode, the negative electrode, and an electrolytic solution in an exterior body. The step of preparing the positive electrode includes a step of holding the positive electrode in depressurized atmosphere and then introducing gas containing CO2 as a primary component into the depressurized atmosphere.

Abstract: Disclosed is a capacitor electrode including a conductive substrate and a flaky carbon that is electrically connected to the conductive substrate, the flaky carbon having an oxygen content of less than 5 mass % and a three-dimensional structure, wherein it is desired that the oxygen content of the flaky carbon is less than 2.6 mass %, and a log differential pore volume distribution of the capacitor electrode measured based on mercury porosimetry may have a maximum peak in a range of 0.3 μm or more and 6 μm or less.

Abstract: A capacitor electrode including a first carbon, and at least one of a second carbon and a metal porous body. The first carbon includes a graphene, and the second carbon includes short carbon fibers having an average length of 10 μm or less and/or carbon particles having an average diameter of 0.1 μm or less. The graphene is layered via the second carbon.
